  • Publication number: 20190126937
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to prioritizing notifications for a vehicle operating in an autonomous driving mode. As an example, a set of notifications based on one or more messages received or transmitted by a planning system of the vehicle may be generated. Each notification of the set of notifications is assigned a priority ranking. The set of notifications may be stored in a cache and the one or more processors may determine a first notification for display based on the priority rankings of the set of notifications and the first notification may be displayed on a display of the vehicle to a passenger of the vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20190113359
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to providing an end of trip sequence when a vehicle is nearing its destination. One or more computing devices may generate and display a video indicating a projected trajectory of the vehicle and objects detected by sensors on the vehicle, on a map corresponding to a route the vehicle is currently following, where the video is generated from a perspective of a virtual camera at a default position and default pitch A determination that the vehicle has reached a threshold relative to the route of the vehicle may be made and the position and pitch of the virtual camera may be adjusted to an updated position above the vehicle and a perspective which looks downwards towards a roof of the vehicle. The video may then be generated and displayed from the perspective of the virtual camera at the updated position.

  • Publication number: 20190100135
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to generating notifications of acceleration events for a vehicle operating in an autonomous driving mode. As an example, instructions generated by a planning system of the vehicle are monitored. Determining whether the instructions identify changes in lateral and longitudinal acceleration for the autonomous driving mode. That an acceleration threshold will be met when the vehicle proceeds according to the changes is determined. A notification is generated based on the determination that an acceleration threshold will be met, the notification identifying that an acceleration event has occurred. The notification is displayed to a passenger of the vehicle on a display of the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 10098662
Abstract: A surgical tool configured to facilitate delivery of a neurostimulator to a craniofacial region of a subject includes a handle portion, an elongate shaft having a contoured distal portion, and an insertion groove on the elongate shaft. The elongate shaft is configured to be advanced under a zygomatic bone along a maxillary tuberosity towards a pterygopalatine fossa. The distal portion includes a distal dissecting tip. The insertion groove is configured to receive, support, and guide a medical device or instrument.

  • Patent number: 9861295
Abstract: One aspect of the present disclosure relates to a system that can facilitate delivery of a medical device in proximity to a target region within a patient's body. Data representing an image of a portion of the patient's body can be received. Based on the data representing the image, a first three dimensional (3D) model of the medical device can be generated. A second 3D model of the medical device can be fitted within the first 3D model at a location in proximity to the target region to create a combined 3D model. A two dimensional (2D) projection of the combined 3D model can be created. In some instances, the 2D projection can be used to facilitate delivery of a medical device in proximity to the target region within a patient's body.

  • Publication number: 20170193627
Abstract: The technology relates to facilitating transportation services between a user and a vehicle having an autonomous driving mode. For instance, one or more server computing devices having one or more processors may information identifying the current location of the vehicle. The one or more server computing devices may determine that the user is likely to want to take a trip to a particular destination based on prior location history for the user. The one or more server computing devices may dispatch the vehicle to cause the vehicle to travel in the autonomous driving mode towards a location of the user. In addition, after dispatching, the one or more server computing devices sending a notification to a client computing device associated with the user indicating that the vehicle is currently available to take the passenger to the particular destination.

  • Publication number: 20170165482
Abstract: One aspect of the present disclosure includes a delivery tool configured to deliver a neurostimulator into a pterygopalatine fossa of a subject. The neurostimulator can include a body connected to an integral stimulation lead having one or more stimulating electrodes. The delivery tool can comprise a handle, an elongated shaft extending from the handle, a hub portion, and a double barrel sheath. The hub portion can be located between the shaft and a spine member that extends axially away from the hub portion. The hub portion can be sized and dimensioned to releasably mate with the neurostimulator. The double barrel sheath can be connected to the spine member. A central lumen can extend through at least a portion of the shaft and the hub portion. The central lumen can be adapted to receive a lead ejector for selective deployment of the stimulation lead from the double barrel sheath.
