  • Publication number: 20200131831
Abstract: A soft-closer device has a housing installable in door rail, a roller and latch assembly in the housing and movable relative to the housing between first and second positions. A locking mechanism is adapted to secure the roller and latch assembly against movement to hold a sub-housing in a required position. The assembly includes a soft-closer actuator in the sub-housing operable to extend and contract, with latch mounted to project through and move along an opening of the housing as the actuator extends and contracts, and a journal on the sub-housing at which the roller is rotatable.

  • Patent number: 10636053
Abstract: An online system evaluates the quality of a content publisher displaying sponsored content items. To determine a likelihood of conversion actions associated with the sponsored content items, the online system uses information about users and their interactions with sponsored content items featured within the content publisher against interactions with sponsored content items featured within a benchmark system (e.g., online system). By determining a ratio of these interactions, the online system can determine a likelihood of conversion actions for the content publisher. The online system uses this likelihood of conversions to determine a publisher quality score that it uses to normalize third party value contributions toward placing sponsored content items on the content publisher. Thus, third party systems no longer need to be concerned about the intrinsic value of a given content publisher as third party value contributions are normalized based on the content publisher's conversion rates.

  • Patent number: 10616306
Abstract: A system described herein may track performance information associated with user interaction components provided via, for example, web pages. The system may determine a time at which a request was received (e.g., when a particular user interaction component is interacted with by a user), and a time at which the request was fulfilled. The system may perform similar functions at multiple devices, in order to determine overall performance information associated with the same user interaction component. This tracking may be performed in an application-agnostic manner (e.g., developers of web pages may not need to specifically request that the performance be tracked). Alerts may be generated when the performance information exceeds acceptable limits.

  • Publication number: 20200106956
Abstract: Techniques described herein display a directional animation during image capture. At least some implementations detect an image capture event associated with capturing an image. In response to detecting the image capture event, a directional animation that includes moving images is displayed, where the moving images are based on a location associated with a camera being used to capture the image. Various implementations detect a termination event and terminate display of the directional animation.

  • Patent number: 10577171
Abstract: A tactile manipulation device comprised of at least one bent axle rod, a series of revolve rods, two substantially similar barrel housings and at least two retaining means. The embodiments differ in the geometric design of the barrel housings, the number of revolve rods, the angle of the bends in the rods, the number and style of retaining means used to lock the axle rod in the barrel housings. This series of similarly bent revolve rods are rotationally and removeably contained adjacent their distal and proximal ends within C-shaped channels formed parallel to the centerline in a pair of identical barrel housings. The ends of the revolve rods have mechanical tool bits thereon.

  • Patent number: 10561416
Abstract: Adapter assemblies selectively interconnect a surgical end effector that is configured to perform at least a pair of functions and a surgical device that is configured to actuate the end effector. The adapter assembly includes an adapter knob housing configured and adapted for connection with the surgical device and to be in operative communication with each of the at least one rotatable drive shaft of the surgical device. The adapter knob housing defines a lumen extending longitudinally therethrough and a ring gear formed in an inner surface of the lumen of the adapter knob housing. The ring gear defines an internal array of gear teeth which are engaged with a spur gear of a rotatable drive shaft. The adapter knob housing may be a unitary member and may be formed of plastic.

  • Publication number: 20200017243
Abstract: A system and method for installing, deploying, and recovering a plurality of spacecraft that provides an ease of use and structural stability, and facilitates a standardization of spacecraft design. In embodiments of this invention, threaded rods are arranged orthogonal to a surface of a baseplate, and each spacecraft includes a coupling mechanism that selectively engages or disengages each threaded rod. Each spacecraft is added to the stack by engaging its coupling mechanism and rotating the threaded rods while the preceding spacecraft on the stack disengage their coupling mechanisms, thereby enabling the spacecraft to travel along the threaded rods toward the baseplate. When all of the spacecraft are added to the stack, the stack is preloaded by rotating the treaded rods into a terminator component at the top of the stack while the coupling mechanisms in all of the spacecraft are disengaged. Spacecraft are deployed by reversing the process.

  • Publication number: 20190381330
Abstract: A defibrillator system optimizes the timing and manner of applying a defibrillator charge to a patient based upon data provided to the defibrillator from a utility module or one or more external devices. A parameter module on the utility module provides the defibrillator with patient parameter information. Devices external to the utility module may provide the utility module with coaching data that the utility module may pass through to the defibrillator as a proxy to the external devices. The utility module may also provide external devices with patient data that the utility module may pass through to the external devices as a proxy to the defibrillator on a scheduled or other basis. The utility module may additionally provide a reserve of power to enable defibrillators to be used where power is unavailable and to enable defibrillators to deliver multiple charges more readily anywhere, anytime.

  • Publication number: 20190378223
Abstract: Systems and methods facilitate transfer of lodging reservations on a secondary market, thereby maintaining increased inventory availability and flexibility, and avoiding sold-out or no-reservations-available conditions. Would-be travelers or lodgers are permitted to benefit from changing market conditions as they are able to consider selling/transferring previously made reservations to take advantage of price changes in their favor. At the same time, lodging providers are able to participate in profits realized from increasing lodging demand and prices, even where lodging reservations were originally made long in the past.

  • Patent number: 10470585
Abstract: An adjustable mode child rocker can be adjusted to provide a number of different swinging/rocking motions to a child positioned within the rocker. The child rocker can include a seat assembly that can include a seat upon which a child can sit. The child rocker can also include a trolley assembly that is directly or indirectly attached to the seat assembly and can include multiple wheels near the bottom of the trolley assembly. The child rocker can also include at least one stationary track and at least one adjustable track for the wheels to move along to provide the different rocking/swinging motions to the seat assembly. The adjustable track(s) is adjustable from at least a first position to a second position to change the distance between the troughs of the respective stationary and adjustable tracks along a longitudinal axis of the child rocker and thereby changing the rocking/swinging motion.
