  • Publication number: 20190182312
Abstract: A system described herein may track performance information associated with user interaction components provided via, for example, web pages. The system may determine a time at which a request was received (e.g., when a particular user interaction component is interacted with by a user), and a time at which the request was fulfilled. The system may perform similar functions at multiple devices, in order to determine overall performance information associated with the same user interaction component. This tracking may be performed in an application-agnostic manner (e.g., developers of web pages may not need to specifically request that the performance be tracked). Alerts may be generated when the performance information exceeds acceptable limits.

  • Patent number: 10271966
Abstract: A body-powered articulated prosthetic hand where each of the segments of the digits, the palmer plate, the thumb pivot plate and the wrist are individually sizeable. This allows for both a proportionately scalable hand as well as individual customization of geometric configurations tailored to specific use patterns. The hand is crushable since it has flexible and pivotable connections between digits along the length and width of the hand. It has a hollow member construction that imparts a strong lightweight design. It is modular so individual parts can be replaced for quick repair. From an aesthetics point, it is visually pleasing and can be offered in different colors, and with custom digit sleeves for specific applications. Fingers can be operated individually or in groups via pairs of cables which allow operation in either voluntary open or voluntary closed modes of control.

  • Publication number: 20190035009
Abstract: Systems and methods for machine-based matching of lodging inventory from a plurality of disparate reservation provider systems address the difficulties inherent in comparing prices to obtain a lowest possible price, which difficulties are inherent in the distribution of inventory to multiple third-party reservation providers who are generally permitted to utilize their own naming conventions when describing lodging inventory and who are also free to at least some extent to set prices for the various lodging inventory within their control. The systems and methods match room types using information obtained from the multiple third-party reservation providers, whereby direct comparisons can be made between prices for the same room types even when the reservation providers do not utilize identical descriptions or naming conventions for the respective room inventories.

  • Patent number: 10180883
Abstract: A storage drive and associated system and method for storing data locally at the storage drive and/or at cloud storage may buffer, in a local storage buffer, data to be stored at the cloud and upload the data to the cloud storage from the local storage buffer. Upon receipt of an acknowledgement, from the cloud storage, that the data was successfully uploaded, the storage drive may delete the data from the local storage buffer. The storage drive may provide a ghost file representation of the uploaded data through the storage drive, through which the data uploaded to the cloud storage may be accessed. The storage drive may access multiple cloud storage accounts, each corresponding to a file folder on the storage drive, allowing the user to easily access different cloud storage accounts. The storage drive may recover data that was deleted from either local persistent storage or the cloud storage.
