  • Publication number: 20110131817
Abstract: A bush cutter comprises an operating rod, a cutting unit disposed at a front end of the operating rod, a main unit disposed at a rear end of the operating rod and a transfer shaft disposed within the operating rod. The cutting unit rotatably supports a cutting blade. The main unit houses a motor that drives the cutting blade. The main unit is provided with a battery pack interface configured to slidably receive a battery pack for supplying electric power to the motor. A direction in which the battery pack slides in the battery pack interface is angled with respect to an central axis of the operating rod. According to this configuration, a user can easily attach and detached the battery pack.

  • Publication number: 20100314146
Abstract: The purpose of the present invention is to maintain a better usability and a better electrical connection, while restricting burden on an attachment portion of an electric tool. In an attachment portion of a chain saw to which a battery pack is mounted, a pair of ribs are provided parallel to and on outer surfaces of the guide rails. On the contrary, a connecting member of a remote control holder has a connecting wall positioned outside the guide rails and having a pair of recessed grooves for allowing the pair of ribs to be fitted into the recessed grooves. The chain saw can be connected to the connecting member without utilizing the guide rails and by the engagement between the ribs and the connecting wall.

  • Publication number: 20090079195
Abstract: When a wind velocity sensor detects a wind velocity higher than a predetermined level, a timer device starts a waiting timer function during an operation timer period shorter than the waiting timer period. After the waiting timer period is over, the waiting timer function is switched to an operation timer function, and a switching relay switches a generator to a motor only during an operation timer period. Then, a driving circuit performs a start assisting rotation. After the operation timer period is over, the waiting timer period re-starts. This process is repeated. When during this period, the number of rotations of a rotor monitored by a rotation number measuring device, based on the output voltage Vm of a three-phase conduction coil exceeds a predetermined number of rotations, the charging of a battery by a three-phase generator is started.

  • Publication number: 20080273981
Abstract: A windmill, characterized by connecting blade root parts to a hub in the radial direction of a windmill shaft by an undercut, fitting structure which is suitable particularly for a small-sized windmill having FRP blades. By this structure, the blades can be connected to the hub at the blade root parts without basically requiring a bolt fastening structure, a reduction in the weight of the blades can be achieved, and the strength, rigidity and installation accuracy of connection parts between the blades and the hub can be satisfactorily maintained.

  • Patent number: 6329702
Abstract: A high frequency carrier is provided which comprises: (a) a planar ceramic substrate having first and second faces and (b) at least one feed-through extending from the first face to the second face. The at least one feed-through comprises a pedestal of doped semiconductor that is at least partially surrounded by a conductive metal layer. Also described is an electrical assembly, which comprises the above high frequency carrier and a metallized substrate. The first face of the carrier is attached to the metallized substrate such that the at least one feed-through is electrically connected to the metallized substrate. The electrical assembly can also comprise at least one electronic element (such as an electronic component or an electronic circuit) that is attached to the second face of the carrier such that the at least one electronic element is electrically connected to at least one feed-through.

  • Patent number: 4193076
Abstract: Coupling an outer antenna with a radio receiver having a bar antenna is achieved by connecting the outer antenna to a coupling coil which is able to be removably mounted on a bar core of the bar antenna and by mounting the coupling coil on the bar core with such an orientation of the coupling coil that the signal received at the outer antenna does not cancel the signal received at the bar antenna. The connection between the outer antenna and the coupling coil may be made by the use of a coaxial cable with the outer conductor of the cable being not grounded to function as a ground plane. A series circuit of a switch and a resistor may be connected in parallel with the coupling coil to selectively reduce the quality factor Q of the bar antenna.
