An intermediate sleeve is made of a synthetic resin and connected to a center shaft member through an elastic body that includes an arcuate portion partly defining the pressure-receiving chamber. An integral first stopper extends into the pressure-receiving chamber, and further includes a bridging portion which partly defines the equilibrium chamber and which includes an integral second stopper extending into a void formed through the elastic body.     Abstract: A fluid-filled damping device wherein a center shaft member and an outer cylindrical member are elastically connected by first and second elastic end walls and an elastic intermediate wall interposed between the end walls. The first elastic end wall has two recesses opposed to each other in a first diametric direction of the center shaft member, and cooperates with the elastic intermediate wall and the outer cylindrical member to define a first fluid chamber. The intermediate wall cooperates with the second elastic end wall and two partition blocks to define a first and a second pocket which are opposed to each other in the first diametric direction. The two partition blocks are interposed between the intermediate and second end walls and opposed to each other in a second diametric direction perpendicular to the first diametric direction. The two pockets are closed by the outer cylindrical member to provide a second and a third fluid chambers communicating with the first fluid chamber.

    Abstract: A fluid-filled cylindrical elastic mount which includes radially spaced-apart inner and outer sleeves, and an elastic body interposed between the inner and outer sleeves for elastical connection thereof. The elastic body has diametrically opposite fluid chambers containing a highly viscous fluid, and at least one fluid passage which communicates with the fluid chambers. The outer sleeve has at least one inlet through which the highly viscous fluid is injected into the mount. Each of the inlets is formed in a portion of the outer sleeve which defines the corresponding fluid passage, and is closed by a sealing member fixed to the outer sleeve. The elastic mount further includes a pair of restricting protrusions which are respectively formed in the fluid chambers to protrude from the inner sleeve toward the outer sleeve in radially opposite directions, such that each protrusion has a radial end face which cooperates with the outer sleeve to define a restricted portion which has a predetermined radial dimension.

    Abstract: A fluid-filled elastic mount including an elastic body elastically connecting a first and a second support, and partially defining a fluid chamber filled with a non-compressible fluid. The elastic mount includes an oscillating plate which partially defines the fluid chamber and which is displaceable to change a pressure of the fluid in the fluid chamber, and a permanent magnet disposed on one of opposite sides of the oscillating plate remote from the fluid chamber. A first and a second yoke member are connected to opposite magnetic pole faces of the magnet by a plastic material, and cooperate with the magnet to define a closed magnetic circuit. The yoke members define therebetween an annular gap in the magnetic circuit, in which a magnetic fluid and an annular moving coil are received. The magnetic fluid includes magnetic particles dispersed in a liquid medium. The coil is fixed to the oscillating plate, to oscillate the oscillating plate upon energization of the coil.

    Abstract: A fluid-filled cylindrical elastic mount having an elastic body interposed between inner and outer sleeves and cooperating with the outer sleeve to define two fluid chambers which communicate with each other through two orifice passages. An orifice-defining structure is interposed between the outer sleeve and the elastic body, so as to cover at least one of the two chambers, and has a circumferential recess open in the radially outward direction of the outer sleeve. The orifice-defining structure has two windows formed therethrough in the radial direction, and a rubber filler in the recess. The filler has two grooves one of which cooperates with one of the windows and the outer sleeve to define a first orifice passage for communication between the two chambers, and the other of which cooperates with the outer sleeve to define a second orifice passage which permits flow of a fluid between the two chambers, through elastic displacement of a flexible diaphragm which closes the other window.

    Abstract: A fluid-filled elastic mount wherein an elastic body elastically connecting a first and a second support partially defines a fluid chamber filled with a non-compressible fluid. The elastic mount includes an oscillating plate which partially defines the fluid chamber and which is supported by the second support such that the oscillating plate is displaceable relative to the second support, and an actuator for oscillating the oscillating plate to thereby change a pressure of the fluid in the fluid chamber. The elastic mount further includes an elastic support member for flexibly connecting the oscillating plate to the second support such that the oscillating plate is movable toward and away from the fluid chamber. This elastic support member is formed of an elastic material which substantially permits shearing deformation of the elastic support member and inhibits its compressive and tensile deformation.

The outer sleeve closes the pockets to thereby provide two pairs of fluid chambers. An orifice passage is provided between the intermediate and outer sleeves, for fluid communication between each pair of fluid chambers whose fluid pressures change in opposite direction upon relative rotation of the inner and outer sleeves.

The closed pocket is substantially divided by the wing portion into a pair of fluid chambers which are filled with a non-compressible fluid and which communicate with each other through an annular resonance portion defined between the wing portion and the outer rigid member.

The main, first auxiliary, and second auxiliary fluid chambers are filled with a non-compressible fluid. Upon application of a vibrational load, relative pressure changes occur between the main fluid chamber and the first and second auxiliary fluid chambers.

    Abstract: A fluid-filled resilient bushing including a resilient member interposed between inner and outer sleeves, and an elastically yieldable partition member. The resilient member and the partition member cooperate with the outer sleeve to define a pressure-receiving chamber and an equilibrium chamber, which are disposed opposite to each other in a first direction in which the bushing receives a vibrational load. The chambers communicate with each other through an orifice. The bushing includes a damping device which has a first portion disposed within the pressure-receiving chamber, so as to extend from a bottom of the chamber. The first portion has a radial end face whose periphery is spaced apart from the periphery of the pressure-receiving chamber, such that an annular spacing is formed between the peripheries of the first portion and the chamber.
