  • Publication number: 20080022356
Abstract: This invention is to safely and surely distribute authentication information to users or user terminals. This method includes: requesting authentication using predetermined authentication information for an access destination via a network; receiving a notification indicating an authentication failure from the access destination; acquiring currently valid authentication information from an authentication information manager by transmitting data to indicate own legitimacy, and storing the acquired currently valid authentication information into a storage device; and requesting the authentication using the acquired currently valid authentication information for the access destination via the network. Thus, by supposing that a failure in the authentication occurs, and by causing the user side to present the data to indicate own legitimacy for the authentication information manager, the currently valid authentication information is distributed, for example, after the encryption.

  • Publication number: 20050243480
Abstract: The invention provides a magnetic recording and reproducing apparatus having magnetic field applying unit applying a magnetic field to a magnetoresistive element to correct a misaligned magnetization direction of the magnetoresistive element. The magnetic field applying unit can be used to correct a misaligned magnetization direction of a free layer of a giant magnetoresistive element. A magnetic field applying unit controller controls the magnetic field applying unit to adjust a magnetization direction and intensity of a magnetic field of the giant magnetoresistive element. The magnetic field applying unit controller can control the magnetic field applying unit to apply a magnetic field only during a data reading time, and to increase the intensity of the application magnetic field during a data re-reading time. The magnetic field applying unit is mounted, corresponding to a head on a suspension that supports a head slider, on a surface of the suspension opposite to the surface on which the head is mounted.

  • Patent number: 6650398
Abstract: A measurement method of measuring wavefront aberration of a projection optical system in a projection exposure apparatus for projecting a reticle pattern onto a substrate via the projection optical system. The method includes a measurement step of measuring intensity of a light beam having passed through the projection optical system and a phase shift pattern at a plane conjugate to a pupil plane of the projection optical system or a plane spaced apart from the phase shift pattern enough to separately detect respective rays emerging from plural points of the pupil plane, when the phase shift pattern set near an image plane or object plane of the projection optical system for forming an image of a pattern is scanned in one or a plurality of directions perpendicular to an optical axis of the projection optical system. The method also includes a signal processing step of calculating the wavefront aberration of the projection optical system on the basis of a measurement result of the measurement step.

  • Publication number: 20020122162
Abstract: The vicinity of an imaging position where the image of a pattern is formed via a projection optical system has another pattern. A projection exposure apparatus uses a light intensity distribution measurement unit for measuring the light intensity distribution of an image formed by a beam having passed through a phase shift pattern different from the pattern. The wavefront aberration of the projection optical system is calculated from changes in light intensity distribution obtained by the light intensity distribution measurement unit in synchronism with scan when the phase shift pattern is scanned in one or a plurality of directions perpendicular to the optical axis of the projection optical system.
