  • Publication number: 20230171753
Abstract: Systems and/or methods for supporting communications at a reduced bandwidth with a full bandwidth network such as a long-term evolution (LTE) network may be disclosed. For example, inband assignments such as downlink assignments and/or uplink grants may be provided and/or received and transmissions may be monitored and/or decoded based on the inband assignment. Additionally, information (e.g. a definition or configuration) associated with an ePDCCH may be provided and/or received and ePDCCH resources may be monitored and/or decoded based on such information. An indication for support of a reduced bandwidth by the full bandwidth network may also be provided and/or received and control channels in the reduced or narrow bandwidth may be monitored and/or decoded based on the indication. A PRACH preamble and/or a multi-type subframe definition may also be provided and/or used for support of such a reduced bandwidth.

  • Publication number: 20230080631
Abstract: Techniques are described for tailoring automatic exposure control (AEC) settings to specific patient anatomies and clinical tasks. According to an embodiment, computer-implemented method comprises receiving one or more scout images captured of an anatomical region of a patient in association with performance of a computed tomography (CT) scan. The method further comprises employing a first machine learning model to estimate, based on the one or more scout images, expected organ doses representative of expected radiation doses exposed to organs in the anatomical region under different AEC patterns for the CT scan. The method can further comprises employing a second machine learning model to estimate, based on the one or more scout images, expected measures of image quality in target and background regions of scan images captured under the different AEC patterns, and determining an optimal AEC pattern based on the expected organ doses and the expected measures of image quality.

  • Patent number: 11571626
Abstract: Examples of the present disclosure describe systems and methods for providing software ownership validation of optical discs using secondary devices. In aspects, a user may request access to electronic content using a first device. In response to the request, a local network comprising the first device may be queried to identify a second device having access to the electronic content. For example, the second device may comprise an optical disc comprising the electronic content. Upon identifying the second device, the second device may be queried to determine whether the second device is able to validate the user's ownership of the electronic content. If the second device is able to validate the user's ownership of the electronic content, the first device is provided access to the electronic content.
