  • Patent number: 11192436
Abstract: A drive unit includes a first electric machine including a first machine shaft, a second electric machine including a second machine shaft, and a differential interconnecting the first electric machine and the second electric machine. The differential includes a park gear. The drive unit further includes a single park system configured to engage the park gear of the differential to simultaneously stop rotation of both the first electric machine and the second electric machine. The park system includes a single pawl movable between an engaged position and a disengaged position. The pawl is spaced apart from the park gear of the differential in the disengaged position to allow the park gear to rotate. The single pawl is in contact with the park gear of the differential in the engaged position to preclude rotation of the park gear.

  • Publication number: 20210329530
Abstract: A method and apparatus for supporting communication buffer status reports (BSRs) are disclosed. A wireless device may generate a first buffer status report (BSR) associated with first data for transmission to at least one wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU). Also, the wireless device may generate a second BSR associated with second data for transmission to a base station. Further, the wireless device may transmit the first BSR and the second BSR in a media access control (MAC) protocol data unit (PDU) to the base station. Additionally, the wireless device may transmit the first data to the at least one WTRU. Moreover, the wireless device may transmit the second data to the base station. In a further example, the wireless device may generate the first BSR and generate the second BSR are based on a priority associated with the first BSR and a priority associated with the second BSR.

  • Publication number: 20210259043
Abstract: Current wireless networks do not allow machine type communication (MTC) devices to have long discontinuous reception (DRX) cycles or sleep lengths. A long DRX cycle may allow MTC systems and devices to operate with much longer DRX/Sleep cycles/periods. This may facilitate the MTC operations for infrequent system access or infrequent system reaching (e.g. paged once in a week) with no or low mobility and may allow MTC devices to sleep for a long time with low power consumption.
