  • Publication number: 20200134236
Abstract: A method for an audiovisual receiver to request an audiovisual transmitter to reset a communication link includes requesting the reset when the audiovisual receiver determines that the communication link is unlocked. The communication is determined to be unlocked when the active geometry of successive audiovisual frames transmitted from the transmitter to the receiver is determined by the receiver to be inconsistent. The communication is also determined to be unlocked when the interval between control bits of the successive audiovisual frames is inconsistent. When one or both of the inconsistencies is determined, the receiver sets an error bit in a register of the receiver that is accessible by the transmitter to determine from the receiver that the communication link is unlocked.

  • Patent number: 10634555
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for protecting a UV-transmissive window. The system includes a first light source for emitting UV energy. The system also includes a UV transmissive window having a planar dimension and a thickness direction perpendicular to the planar dimension, the window positioned so that UV energy from the UV light source passes through the thickness dimension of the window. The system further includes a second light source for introducing a beam of light transverse to the thickness dimension of the window, a detector for detecting light received from the second light source after the light passes through the thickness dimension, and a control system responsive to changes in the detected light received from the second light source and configured to transmit an alert when a change in the detected light exceeds a threshold.

  • Patent number: 10558783
Abstract: This disclosure describes techniques that relate generally to the collection, processing, storage, and graphical representation of medical imaging data associated with patient care. Medical imaging data may be processed using object recognition algorithms to help determined pertinent medical characteristics. Further, a graphical fusion application may generate a graphical representation of medical data that is based at least in part on a combination of medical imaging data and corresponding interpretation data. The graphical representation may overlay a schematic diagram of a relevant organ system, so as to provide a medical practitioner with a visual, more specifically graphical, indication of the medical imaging data. Interpretation data of pertinent medical characteristics may be generated by an automated analysis of the medical imaging data.

  • Publication number: 20190338919
Abstract: Systems are disclosed for providing ultraviolet (UV) energy to items on a processing surface. The system includes a lamp positioned over the processing surface to provide UV energy to the processing surface and a reflector cell positioned to cause UV energy emitted from the lamp in a direction away from the processing surface to be reflected toward the processing surface. The system includes the reflector cell having a reflector cap positioned above the lamp and a shroud extending downwardly from the reflector cap toward the conveyor wherein the shroud has a vertical dimension, a longitudinal dimension, and a horizontal dimension along the direction of the conveyor such that the horizontal dimension and the longitudinal dimension define a treatment area on the conveyor. The lamp is configured to deliver energy to the treatment area such that the delivered energy to the processing surface is substantially uniform over the treatment area.

  • Publication number: 20190320670
Abstract: Systems and methods for treating unwashed fruit with fruit bloom that provide a first ultraviolet (UV) energy with one or more flashes using a first set of one or more flash lamps to a first surface of each of a plurality of blueberries and provide a second UV energy with one or more flashes using a second set of one or more flash lamps to a second surface of each of the plurality of blueberries. The system determines a fruit bloom level associated with the plurality of blueberries after provision of the first and second UV energies and determines an adjustment to a parameter of at least one of the first and second UV energies based on the fruit bloom level. The system provides UV energy with the adjusted parameter to a subsequent set of blueberries to remove microorganisms from the blueberries while retaining fruit bloom.

  • Publication number: 20190148006
Abstract: Techniques are described for analyzing patient image data relative to stored medical image data. A Registry & Image Data Analytics (RIDA) system is described that is configured to analyze medical image data, generate corresponding metadata, and selectively store the medical image data, and metadata, within a registry & image data repository. The RIDA system may be configured to extract pertinent medical data from medical image data that is related to patient care, medical examinations and/or medical research. In doing so, the RIDA system may infer a medical diagnosis based on an analysis of patient image data. Additionally, the RIDA system may infer the validity of a medical hypothesis based at least in part on an analysis of patient image data. The RIDA system may also generate and store a synthesized expression of a text-based or audio-based user input into patient image data and/or corresponding registry data record.
