  • Publication number: 20240257414
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for generating a chemical shift artifact corrected reconstructed image from magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) data includes inputting into a trained deep neural network an image generated from the MRI data acquired during a non-Cartesian MRI scan of a subject. The method also includes utilizing the trained deep neural network to generate the chemical shift artifact corrected reconstructed image from the image, wherein the trained deep neural network was trained utilizing a tissue mixing model that models interactions between different tissue types to mitigate chemical shift artifacts. The method further includes outputting from the trained deep neural network the chemical shift artifact corrected reconstructed image.

  • Publication number: 20240256670
Abstract: After completion of a backup job, the illustrative system performs a threat analysis of the freshly generated backup copies. Each copy is restored at a secure storage area. The system scans the restored data using, preferably, a signature-based malware scanning engine. If the scan finds malware infection or some other unsafe condition, a tracking index is updated to indicate that the copy is unsafe, and the secondary copy is quarantined. The quarantine prevents the copy from being restored to the production environment, and from acting as a source for other copies. The system iterates, scanning preceding versions of the copy, updating the index, and quarantining, until a clean or uninfected copy is found. The clean copy is so indexed. Responsive to a restore request, the illustrative system automatically restores the clean copy and skips over the infected copy/copies, preferably without asking the requesting user for input or approval.

  • Publication number: 20240256337
Abstract: A cognitive content service exposes an interface for providing artificial intelligence (“AI”)-generated content based on content templates that define when and how AI-generated content is to be generated. Requests made to the API for AI-generated content identify a content template. The cognitive content service determines, based on the identified content template, whether the requested AI-generated content is to be newly generated or whether previously generated AI-generated content is to be returned in response to the request. If the requested AI-generated content is to be newly generated, the cognitive content service transmits a request to a content generation service to generate the AI-generated content based on the content template. The content generation service generates the requested content based on the content template. The cognitive content service stores the AI-generated content and generates a response to the request for the AI-generated content.

  • Patent number: 12051690
Abstract: Disclosed is a semiconductor structure including a semiconductor substrate (e.g., a P-substrate) and a symmetric BDSCR. The BDSCR includes, within the substrate, a first well (e.g., a low-doped deep Nwell) and, within the first well, symmetric side sections and a middle section positioned laterally between the side sections. Each side section includes: second and third wells (e.g., Pwells), where the third well is shallower than and has a higher conductivity level than the second well. Each middle section includes multiple floating wells including: two fourth wells (e.g., Nwells), which have a higher conductivity level than the first well, and a fifth well (e.g., another Pwell), which is positioned laterally between and shallower than the fourth wells. By incorporating the floating wells into the middle section, high current tolerance is improved.

  • Publication number: 20240250817
Abstract: Synchronization of a session state of an access token is provided between elements in a system, such as between an Identity Manager (IDM) and an Application Programming Interface (API) Gateway. The IDM generates an access token that is provided to a client device and stores session state information of the access token at a distributed cache. When the client device logs out from the IDM, the IDM removes the session state information from the distributed storage device. The API Gateway is able to request the session state information from distributed storage device. Based on receiving the session state information, the API Gateway authenticates the access token and grants the client device access to an end service. Before requesting the session state information from the distributed storage device, the API Gateway is able to verify the access token is valid and that the access token has not expired.

  • Patent number: 12046303
Abstract: For a nonvolatile (NV) storage media such as NAND (not AND) media that is written by a program and program verify operation, the system can apply a smart prologue operation. A smart prologue operation can selectively apply a standard program prologue, to compute program parameters for a target subblock. The smart prologue operation can selectively apply an accelerated program prologue, applying a previously-computed program parameter for a subsequent subblock of a same block of the NV storage media. Application of a prior program parameter can reduce the need to compute program parameters for the other subblocks.

  • Patent number: 12045275
Abstract: The content items presented to a user account as part of a media station can be recorded in a content history index, which can be requested and presented to the user account. The content history can enable a user to revisit the content items included in the content history and/or provide feedback regarding the content items. The version of the content item returned to the user can be based on the client device used to request the content item. For example, a user that was presented a content item on their mobile device, can later request to revisit the content item on their PC and receive a version of the content item best suited for presentation by the PC, rather than the version presented on the mobile device.

  • Publication number: 20240244281
Abstract: In various embodiments, a simulation evaluation application generates a first streaming header based on rungs of a first candidate encoding ladder, where each rung specifies a resolution and a bitrate of a different encoded video. The simulation evaluation application executes an adaptive bitrate algorithm on the first streaming header based on a network throughput trace to determine a first value for a metric that is relevant to quality of experience. The simulation evaluation application generates a second streaming header based on a second candidate encoding ladder. The simulation evaluation application executes the adaptive bitrate algorithm on the second streaming header based on the network throughput trace to determine a second value for the first metric. The simulation evaluation application compares the first value to the second value to determine that the first candidate encoding ladder instead of the second candidate encoding ladder should be used to stream the media title.

  • Publication number: 20240244224
Abstract: In various embodiments, an encoding ladder application generates encoding ladders that are used to stream media titles. The encoding ladder application generates an objective function based on a ladder configuration and a parameterized objective function. The parameterized objective function approximates a tradeoff between a quality of experience and a cost term associated with a candidate encoding ladder. The encoding ladder application generates constraints based on the ladder configuration and parameterized constraints. The encoding ladder application executes a constrained optimization algorithm on the objective function, the constraints, and encoding point metadata associated with a set of encoded videos to generate a first candidate encoding ladder for a media title.

  • Publication number: 20240244255
Abstract: In some embodiments, a video encoder or a video decoder obtains a pair of motion vectors for a current coding block of a video signal with respect to two reference frames. Predictions of the current block are generated using the pair of motion vectors from respective reference frames. The video encoder or video decoder further determine an optical flow for the current coding block based on samples values in the predictions. One component of the optical flow is determined based on the other component of the optical flow. Bi-predictive optical flow (BPOF) can be performed on the current coding block using the determined optical flow.
