  • Patent number: 10792203
Abstract: A manipulator arm for moving a load from a first position at a first elevation, to a second position at a second elevation, provides a base and defines plural spaced apart axle holes. A fulcrum lever link formed of a channel beam defines plural spaced apart axle holes. A first load member, and two support members extend between, and pivotally interconnect, the base plate and the fulcrum lever link and define a quadrilateral lift frame about the pivotal interconnections. An actuator operatively communicates between the first load member and the fulcrum lever link and the fulcrum lever link provides mechanical advantage to the actuator to cause the quadrilateral lift frame to change from a first configuration at the first position to a second configuration at the second position.

  • Patent number: 10788070
Abstract: A fastener assembly is provided having a cylindrical shank with a plurality of annular grooves formed along a length of the shank. A plurality of elongated ribs extends perpendicular to the grooves along the length. A fastener disc is provided with a central opening with a diameter less than a cylindrical shank diameter wherein an inner edge of the central opening includes a contact surface. The fastener disc is retained on the fastener portion in a locked position when the contact surface engages one of the plurality of grooves with a friction fit. The fastener disc is rotated to a release position so that the elongated rib contacts the inner edge thereby releasing the contact surface from the grooves.

  • Publication number: 20200299762
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a multiplexed design with three-dimensional plasmonic nanofocusing and confinement of light, demonstration of reproducible and robust single-molecule optical fingerprints using two complementary vibrational spectroscopy techniques (infrared and Raman spectroscopy), identification of respective vibrational modes which uniquely fingerprint the biomolecular species, and facile differentiation of respective fingerprints in DNA mixtures, as well as epigenetic modifications. While the nanometer scale mode volumes still prevent single letter identification of DNA sequence, we show an alternative method for identifying A, T, G, C DNA nucleotides in “k-mers” using sequences of these blocks as a unique and high-throughput alternative to single letter sequences (similar to binary and hexadecimal systems). Furthermore, additivity shown in single-molecule DNA mixtures and robust optical signatures can also be used in a raster-type step scan to identify single letter sequences.

  • Publication number: 20200301503
Abstract: When the speed of head movement exceeds the processing capability of the system, a reduced depiction is displayed. As one example, the resolution may be reduced using coarse pixel shading in order to create a new depiction at the speed of head movement. In accordance with another embodiment, only the region the user is looking at is processed in full resolution and the remainder of the depiction is processed at lower resolution. In still another embodiment, the background depictions may be blurred or grayed out to reduce processing time.

  • Publication number: 20200301873
Abstract: In one example, at least one peripheral interconnect switch obtains, from a first endpoint device, a message initiating a direct memory access data transfer between the first endpoint device and a second endpoint device. The message indicates an address assigned to the second endpoint device by a host device as a destination of the message. Based on the address assigned to the second endpoint device by the host device, the at least one peripheral interconnect switch identifies an address assigned to the second endpoint device by the at least one peripheral interconnect switch. In response to identifying the address assigned to the second endpoint device by the at least one peripheral interconnect switch, the at least one peripheral interconnect switch provides the message to the second endpoint device.

  • Publication number: 20200301432
Abstract: Described herein is an apparatus and a corresponding method for performing warehouse zoning and further monitoring the zoned warehouse. The apparatus includes circuitry that partitions a workspace into a plurality of zones based on an area of the workspace, and a number of transportation vehicles and a number of item racks that are to be deployed in the workspace. A location of each zone within the workspace is determined based on a location of a first type of station that is disposed outside the workspace. The apparatus determines for each zone, an area of the zone and receives a signal indicating occurrence of an event in one of the zones. Further, the apparatus determines a degree of criticality of the occurred event which indicates whether workspace operation in the zone can be continued, and initiates an operation at a timing that is based on the determined degree of criticality.

  • Publication number: 20200304390
Abstract: An example method can include choosing a pattern or patterns of network traffic. This pattern can be representative of a certain type of traffic such as an attack. The pattern can be associated with various components of a network and can describe expected behavior of these various components. A system performing this method can then choose a nodes or nodes to generate traffic according to the pattern and send an instruction accordingly. After this synthetic traffic is generated, the system can compare the behavior of the components with the expected behavior. An alert can then be created to notify an administrator or otherwise remedy any problems.

  • Patent number: 10783694
Abstract: A pipeline is configured to access a memory that stores a texture block and metadata that encodes compression parameters of the texture block and a residency status of the texture block. A processor requests access to the metadata in conjunction with requesting data in the texture block to perform a shading operation. The pipeline selectively returns the data in the texture block to the processor depending on whether the metadata indicates that the texture block is resident in the memory. A cache can also be included to store a copy of the metadata that encodes the compression parameters of the texture block. The residency status and the metadata stored in the cache can be modified in response to requests to access the metadata stored in the cache.

  • Patent number: 10785161
Abstract: A method is provided by which a network adapter device receives a packet sent over a network from a peer, the packet including an enqueue timestamp indicating when the packet has been enqueued at the network adapter device. The network adapter device parses a header of the packet to detect whether the header includes bits indicating that the peer device is experiencing congestion, and obtains packet metadata of the packet and the enqueue timestamp of the packet. The network adapter device compares the packet metadata with information in a flow table to identify an entry in the flow table corresponding to a flow to which the packet metadata matches. The network adapter device sets a timer associated with the flow, the timer for use in scheduling transmission of a next packet provided by the host to be sent to the peer.

  • Patent number: 10783690
Abstract: Systems and methods for image retargeting are provided. Image data may be acquired that includes motion capture data indicative of motion of a plurality of markers disposed on a surface of a first subject. Each of the markers may be associated with a respective location on the first subject. A plurality of blendshapes may be calculated for the motion capture data based on a configuration of the markers. An error function may be identified for the plurality of blendshapes, and it may be determined that the plurality of blendshapes can be used to retarget a second subject based on the error function. The plurality of blendshapes may then be applied to a second subject to generate a new animation.
