  • Patent number: 12101301
Abstract: The present technology can allow a user to use the OpenID Connect protocol to login to an account that has an anonymous user account ID. More specifically, the present technology can programmatically combine information received from an OpenID provider during the OpenID Connect protocol with a random value to yield a unique anonymous user account ID. The present technology also makes use of the ability within the OpenID Connect protocol to embed a chosen nonce into the token signed by the OpenID provider. This allows for embedding hashes of cryptographic keys, like signature verification keys, into ID tokens received from the OpenID provider that authenticates the user. Subsequently, the user can sign messages that can be verified using the verification key bound to the ID token from the OpenID provider.

  • Publication number: 20240283802
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer program products for identifying a fraudulent device. A device analytics engine receives device data from a computing device, the device data including parameters associated with the computing device. The device analytics engine selects a set of rules in a plurality of rules that indicate at least one parameter in the plurality of parameters in the device data for determining a device identifier. The set of rules are evaluated in order until the device identifier is determined from the at least one parameter indicated in the set of rules, the device data, and previously stored data from multiple computing devices. A score is generated for the computing device using one or more of the device identifier, device data, a set of rules, and previously receive device data that corresponds to the device identifier. A computing device is identified as a fraudulent computing device based on the score.

  • Patent number: 12066996
Abstract: In some examples, a database system accesses a plurality of objects in a remote object store. In response to a query to change data in a first object of the plurality of objects, the database system specifies the first object prior to the change as a first version of the first object, and creates a second version of the first object after the change. The database system maintains metadata identifying unmodified objects of the plurality of objects, and during a garbage collection process when deciding whether to remove a given object of the plurality of objects, accesses the metadata to determine whether the given object has been modified, and prevents removal of the given object in response to determining that the given object is unmodified.

  • Publication number: 20240264904
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for logical counters for a memory system are described. A controller within a memory system may generate one or more logical counters that each correspond to a management counter of a memory die. The controller may store the logical counters at a logical address space associated with the memory system. The logical address space may correspond to a physical location within a memory array of the memory die. The controller may periodically read a value of a management counter and store the value to the logical counter. In some examples, if the memory system detects an error condition for the management counter, the memory system may perform a recovery operation for the data stored at the memory die.

  • Publication number: 20240248781
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for error tracking by a memory system are described. A memory system transmit indications of corrupt data without storing (e.g., internally storing) the indication. In some examples, a memory system may read data (e.g., from an associated memory device) and detect an error in the data. The memory system may generate an indication of the error and may transmit the indication to a host device. In other examples, a host device may transmit corrupted data with an indication of such. The memory system may store the corrupt data (e.g., an inverted version of the corrupt data) and, upon receiving a subsequent read command, may transmit the corrupt data to the host system with an indication that the data is corrupt.

  • Publication number: 20240249266
Abstract: Systems and methods include extracting item parameters from images of items positioned at a POS system. The item parameters associated with each item are indicative as to an identification of each item thereby enabling the identification of each item based on the item parameters. The item parameters are analyzed to determine whether the item parameters match item parameters stored in a database. The database stores different combinations of item parameters to thereby identify each item based on each different combination of item parameters associated with each item. Each item positioned at the POS system is identified when the item parameters for each item match item parameters as stored in the database and fail to identify each item when the item parameters fail to match item parameters. The item parameters associated with the items that fail to match are streamed to the database thereby enabling the identification of each failed item.

  • Publication number: 20240242578
Abstract: Assisted checkout devices, including point-of-sale stations, can use computer vision and machine learning to speed the checkout process while maintaining human verification, assistance, and customer interaction provided by human clerks. A plurality of optical sensors, including cameras, can be arranged with different views of a checkout plane upon which items being purchased by a buyer are placed. Moreover, one or more support towers can be utilized to elevate the optical sensors to vertical heights at which the checkout plane, and items placed thereon, is within the field of view of the optical sensors. The information captured by the plurality of optical sensors can be analyzed using machine learning models to detect and identify the items placed on the checkout plane.

  • Publication number: 20240242202
Abstract: The innovation discloses systems, methods and computer program products that reduce complexity and associated measures that are taken to ensure trust in secured transactions as necessitated by requirements present only in an ecommerce environment that do not have a parallel with traditional bricks and mortar commercial transactions. The innovation enables a multitude of mobile wallet applications to engage and obtain services from ecommerce applications wherein backend processing by a mobile wallet server obtains and delivers funds to ecommerce applications without sharing a subset of sensitive data, associated with a mobile wallet application user for the secured transactions. The innovation further provides for a wallet network to be initiated and engaged in which the secured transactions can take place, adopting and adapting social network application connectivity.
