Abstract: Improved techniques for management of access in computing environments and systems are disclosed. An object-level data access mechanism can be provided. to effectively provide an object-level locking mechanism for locking data objects of database tables, individually, as individual data objects. Furthermore, the object-level data access mechanism can be provided as a safe and efficient filtering mechanism (e.g., cuckoo filter) that effectively provide an object-level locking mechanisms for locking data objects of a database table, individually (i.e., as individual locks placed on individual data objects). For example, a set of filters (e.g., write cuckoo and read cuckoo) can be provided for a database table to facilitate concurrent database operations in a safe but efficient manner.

  • Patent number: 11688467
Abstract: Described herein are embodiments related to defect detection in memory components of memory systems with time-varying bit error rate. A processing device determines that a bit error rate (BER) corresponding to a read operation to read a unit of data in a memory component satisfies a threshold criterion, determines a write-to-read (W2R) delay for the read operation, wherein the W2R delay comprises a difference between a time of the read operation and a write timestamp indicating when the unit of data was written to the memory component, and determines whether the W2R delay is within a W2R delay range corresponding to an initial read voltage level used by the read operation to read the unit of data. The processing device initiates a defect detection operation responsive to the W2R delay being within the W2R delay range, the defect detection operation to detect time-varying defects in the memory component.

  • Patent number: 11681876
Abstract: An embodiment calculates a point of view (POV) value for a subportion of an item of media content, including evaluating user inputs related to an automatically detected POV of the subportion of the item. The embodiment also calculates a non-factual cost for the subportion of the item indicative of an amount of the subportion of the item that lacks support in a fact-based corpora. The embodiment also performs a cascaded summarization process comprising generating a summary of the item using the subportion of the item and a summarization technique, analyzing the summary using a fact-checking algorithm to determine whether the summary satisfies a factual score threshold, and performing a next iteration of the cascaded summarization process while the summary fails to satisfy the factual score threshold. The embodiment also communicates a summary satisfying the factual score threshold to a user device.

  • Patent number: 11593163
Abstract: The embodiments disclosed herein relate to using machine learning to allocate a number of concurrent processes for minimizing the completion time for executing a task having multiple subtasks. Historical data comprising a variety of subtask types with actual completion times is mined to create a set of statistical models for predicting completion time for a type of subtask. To minimize the total time to complete execution of a new task, a certain number of threads is allocated to execute subtasks of the new task. The certain number of threads is determined based on the predicted completion time for the subtasks using the respective statistical model. Threads are assigned to subtasks based on the predicted completion time for the subtasks, and the subtasks assigned to each thread are scheduled for execution.

  • Publication number: 20230056003
Abstract: Using a logistic regression classification model executing on a processor, a topic is classified into an interaction type in a set of predefined interaction types. A set of documents corresponding to the topic is extracted from a document repository. Using a generative adversarial model executing on a processor, a sentiment corresponding to a reaction to a previous presentation is scored, the scoring resulting in a scored sentiment. Using a trained attention layer model, the interaction type, the set of documents, and the scored sentiment are weighted, the weighting generating a weighted interaction type, a weighted set of documents, and a weighted scored sentiment. Using a natural language generation transformer model executing on the processor, a document in the weighted set of documents is weighted according to the weighted interaction type and the weighted scored sentiment.

  • Patent number: 11580099
Abstract: Methods are presented for providing dynamic search filter suggestions that are updated and ranked based on the user filter selections. One method includes detecting a query received in a user interface (UI), calculating, by a search-candidate model, first search results, and calculating, by a suggestions model, first filter suggestions for filter categories to filter responses to the query. The suggestions model is obtained by training a machine-learning algorithm utilizing pairwise learning-to-rank modeling. The first search results and the first filter suggestions are presented in the UI. When a selection in the UI of a filter suggestion is detected, the search-candidate model calculates second search results for the filter categories based on the query and the selected filter suggestion, and the suggestions model calculates second first filter suggestions based on the query and the selected filter suggestion. The second search results and the second filter suggestions are presented in the UI.
