  • Publication number: 20220201010
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer program products for identifying a fraudulent device. A device analytics engine receives device data from a computing device, the device data including parameters associated with the computing device. The device analytics engine selects a set of rules in a plurality of rules that indicate at least one parameter in the plurality of parameters in the device data for determining a device identifier. The set of rules are evaluated in an order until the device identifier is determined from the at least one parameter indicated in the set of rules, the device data, and previously stored data from multiple computing devices. A score is generated for the computing device using one or more of the device identifier, device data, a set of rules, and previously receive device data that corresponds to the device identifier. A computing device is identified as a fraudulent computing device based on the score.

  • Patent number: 11334543
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for scalable bucket merging in a data intake and query system. Various components of a bucket manager can be used to monitor recently-created buckets of data in common storage that are associated with a particular tenant and a particular index, apply a comprehensive bucket merge policy to determine groups of buckets that qualify for merging, merge those group of buckets into merged buckets to be stored in the common storage, and update any information associated with the merged buckets and pre-merged buckets. These components may be shared across multiple tenants, and some of these components may be dynamically scalable based on need. This approach may also provide many additional benefits, including improved search performance from merged buckets, efficient resource utilization associated with discriminate merging, and redundancy in case of component failure.

  • Publication number: 20220100746
Abstract: Methods are presented for providing dynamic search filter suggestions that are updated and ranked based on the user filter selections. One method includes detecting a query received in a user interface (UI), calculating, by a search-candidate model, first search results, and calculating, by a suggestions model, first filter suggestions for filter categories to filter responses to the query. The suggestions model is obtained by training a machine-learning algorithm utilizing pairwise learning-to-rank modeling. The first search results and the first filter suggestions are presented in the UI. When a selection in the UI of a filter suggestion is detected, the search-candidate model calculates second search results for the filter categories based on the query and the selected filter suggestion, and the suggestions model calculates second first filter suggestions based on the query and the selected filter suggestion. The second search results and the second filter suggestions are presented in the UI.

  • Patent number: 11269605
Abstract: An application can be converted to new programming language or framework. A source application written for a legacy framework is analyzed and divided into smaller segments of code. The smaller segments are evaluated for quality in view of best practices design for writing applications. A rubric is determined for each segment and compared to a best practice threshold. Segments can be evaluated for features that can be passed through a model. The model converts the features into new code adapted for target framework. Machine learning and rules databases are updated with details of the conversion.
