The first BMC includes a first wireless interface, and is coupled via a first wired interface to the management system. The second BMC includes a second wireless interface, and is coupled via a second wired interface to the management system. The information handling system detects that the BMC has become uncoupled from the management system via the first wired interface, establishes a wireless link between the first wireless interface and the second wireless interface in response to detecting that the first BMC has become uncoupled from the management system, and provides management between the first BMC and the management system via the second wired interface and the wireless link.

Abstract: A system includes a first server rack with a first wireless interface and a second server rack with a second wireless interface. The second server rack is in a first row of a data center with the first server rack. The first server rack establishes a first wireless link with the second server rack via the first and second wireless interfaces, determines a first value of a first received signal strength indication for the first wireless link, and determines that the second server is in the first row based upon the first value.

Abstract: An information handling system includes a Baseboard Management Controller (BMC) and a communication interface coupled to the BMC. The BMC includes a security co-processor that stores an access key. The access is associated with a first function of the BMC. The communication interface receives a security key from a device external to the information handling system. The BMC directs the security co-processor to determine if the first security key matches the first access key, and unlocks the first function when the first security key matches the first access key.

Abstract: A data center includes processing devices and a mobile device. The processing devices are configured to determine a suitability grade, receive another suitability grade from another processing device via a wireless interface connection, determine that the suitability grade is higher than the other suitability grade, and provide an indication to the other processing device that the processing device is a master processing device in response to determining that the suitability grade is higher than the other suitability grade. The mobile device sets up another wireless interface connection with a first one of the processing devices, determines that the first processing device is a master processing device, and provides an update for another one of the processing devices to the first processing device in response to determining that the first processing device is the first master processing device. The processing device is further configured to provide the update to the other processing device.

A network device is operative to determine whether a state of a link that couples the first network device with a third network device is active. In response to determining that the state of the link is active causing a payload of a packet to be forwarded towards the third network device through the second network interface of the first network device based on a second IP address; and responsive to determining that the state of the link is not active causing the second payload to be forwarded towards the third network device through a third network interface of the second network device based on the second IP address.
