Abstract: 4-Isobornyloxy-allyloxybenzene is disclosed as active ingredient to combat plant diseases caused by Pseudomonas solanacearum.

Abstract: New ethers of the formula ##STR1## are disclosed, wherein R.sub.1 represents an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms andY represents an oxygen or sulphur atom. These compounds are useful as pesticides, especially for the control of insects and pests of the order Acarina. The compounds are also useful for combating ectoparasites which affect livestock and domestic animals.

Abstract: New acetals and a composition and method for combatting and controlling animal and plant pests, especially insects and in particular fruit and citrus pests. The pesticidally active acetals correspond to the formula ##STR1## wherein X represents --CH.sub.2, --O-- or --S--,Y represents --O-- or --S--,R.sub.1 represents hydrogen or C.sub.1 --C.sub.3 -alkyl, andR.sub.2 represents C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 -halogenoalkyl, C.sub.3 -C.sub.4 -alkenyl or C.sub.3 -C.sub.4 -alkynyl.

Abstract: 2,2-Dimethyl-4,5-benzospiro(2,4)heptane- and 2,2-dimethyl-4,5-benzospiro(2,4)-hepta-4,6-diene-1-carboxylates of the formula ##STR1## WHEREIN EACH OF R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 represents a hydrogen atom or together represent a carbon to carbon bond, andR.sub.3 represents a hydrogen atom or a cyano group, process for their manufacture and a method of controlling pests, which comprises the use of these compounds.
