  • Patent number: 12567894
Abstract: A method of channel state information (CSI) report can include receiving a CSI report configuration at a user equipment (UE) from a base station, the CSI report configuration being associated with a set of CSI reference signal (CSI-RS) resources corresponding to multiple transmission reception points (TRPs), performing a channel measurement based on the CSI-RSs resources corresponding to the multiple TRPs, determining a precoder matrix indicator (PMI) based on measurement results of the channel measurement, the PMI corresponding to a precoder matrix, denoted W, of a Type II CSI codebook, the precoder matrix having a spatial domain (SD) basis vector matrix, denoted W1, SD basis selection of the SD basis vector matrix being TRP-specific, and transmitting a CSI report to the base station, the CSI report including the PMI.

  • Publication number: 20250337543
Abstract: A communication method, a user equipment and a modem chip using the same are provided. The communication method comprises: receiving, through RRC (Radio Resource Control) signaling, a first configuration of an aperiodic trigger state and a second configuration of a value of M from a network, wherein the first configuration provides a configured set of X CRI(s); receiving a DCI (Downlink Control Information) indicating the aperiodic trigger state by a CSI (Channel State Information) request field in the DCI; and reporting, to the network, M-X CRI(s) based on a CSI-RS resource set associated with the aperiodic trigger state.

  • Patent number: 12395217
Abstract: A method of downlink channel state information (DL CSI) measurement and reporting is proposed in FR1 frequency division duplex (FDD) systems. CSI reference signal (CSI-RS) is directed towards dominant spatial domain (SD, beam) and frequency domain (FD, delay) components in the propagation environment. By partial channel reciprocity, angles and delays in the DL channel can be obtained by UL channel measurement. UE only needs to measure and feedback the DL CSI corresponding to the dominant angles and delays. BS obtains the precoder in the antenna-frequency domain using the CSI feedback in the beam-delay domain. BS uses the precoder for transmission over Physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH). In one embodiment, UE reconstructs the DL channel on a multitude of delays using the DL channel estimated on a few beamformed CSI-RS and delay tap indices signaled from the network.

  • Patent number: 10929268
Abstract: Techniques are described for generating prediction metrics that describe one or more predicted characteristics and/or outcomes of a software development project. Implementations employ machine learning (ML) algorithms to develop prediction models to predict characteristics of a project. For example, the models can be employed to predict a number of defects that may be present in a software product that is produced by a software development project. A model can be trained using input data captured from previous software projects, such as data describing the feature set of a software product, the timeline for its development, the particular type or domain of software, a number of modules, functions, etc., the particular number and/or identity of personnel working on the project, and so forth. Such input data can be analyzed to extract features that are provided as training data to train a model that is used to predict project metrics.

  • Patent number: 8711676
Abstract: Techniques for finding an optimized local repair path that may be used to signal a local repair connection for a protected connection. The optimized local repair path starts at a node in the path associated with the protected connection and ends at a merge point node in the path associated with the protected connection that is downstream from the start node. Various techniques may be used for finding an optimized local repair path.

  • Patent number: 8432909
Abstract: In various exemplary embodiments, the present invention provides a low-cost, low-processing overhead mechanism for distributing routing, topology, reachability, and recovery information across the interface between two nodes that may then be used by a network or client device to populate a topology database, route a connection, recover from a connection failure, etc. Specifically, the methods and systems of the present invention use a link management interface and the associated link management protocol(s) to distribute this routing, topology, reachability, and recovery information, adding it to the normal link management protocol(s).

  • Patent number: 8009681
Abstract: The present invention provides improved methods and systems for interworking Resource Reservation Protocol (RSVP)-based external control plane protocols with internal control plane protocols, such as Optical Signaling and Routing Protocol (OSRP). The present invention utilizes only a high-level mapping in which a trigger is created in the internal control plane protocol to initiate the desired internal control plane action or vice versa. The external control plane protocol messages and fields are encapsulated as data in the internal control plane messages and fields and are processed only at the remote end of the internal domain. By encapsulating the entirety or parts of the external control plane protocol messages and fields ensures that necessary information is carried from an ingress border node to an egress border node.
