The heater coupling apparatus includes a tub, a heater coupling portion, a heater, and a bracket. The heater coupling portion is formed on the tub. The heater is coupled to the heater coupling portion. The bracket forms a closed loop portion in a shape of a closed loop, to dispose the heater within the closed loop portion.

Abstract: An electronic device, such as a sample-and-hold circuit, includes a field effect transistor (FET), a capacitor, and a voltage offset circuit. The FET is configured to receive a signal at a first terminal thereof and selectively provide the signal to a second terminal thereof responsive to a switching signal at a gate terminal thereof. The capacitor is electrically connected to the second terminal of the FET. The voltage offset circuit is electrically connected to the first terminal and the gate terminal of the FET. The voltage offset circuit is configured to maintain a substantially constant voltage differential between the first terminal and the gate terminal of the FET while the signal is provided to the second terminal of the FET and substantially independent of a voltage level of an input signal. Related methods of operation are also discussed.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a low-reflectivity, brightness-enhancing multilayer optical film for enhancing the brightness of an organic light emission diode (OLED) display and imparting anti-reflection performance to the display. The multilayer optical film comprises a transparent substrate, a light diffusion layer formed on the transparent substrate by wet coating and a light-absorbing layer formed on the light diffusion layer by wet coating wherein the substrate has a thickness of 10˜300 ?m, the light diffusion layer contains a resin and spherical particles, and the light-absorbing layer contains 50˜500 parts by weight of core-shell structured light-absorbing particles composed of a light-absorbing agent as a material for the core and a transparent resin as a material for the shell. Further disclosed is an organic light emitting diode (OLED) display using the multilayer optical film.

Thereafter, an examination signal having a plurality of different frequency signals which linearly vary is applied to one end of the transmission line. Peak values according to frequencies of an output signal output from the other end of the transmission line are detected and the detected output wave characteristics are analyzed, thus determining whether defects of the PDP electrodes exist.

Abstract: A communications terminal operates in multiple modes including a wired phone mode, an Internet phone mode, and a combined mode. The terminal includes a wired phone unit and an IP phone unit which separately processes calls to/from PSTN- and Internet-communications networks. The terminal also includes a processor which processes a call through a voice path which connects the wired phone unit and the IP phone unit in a third mode of operation which is referred to as an external connection mode. By processing a call along this path, the cost of performing long-distance and/or international calling may be substantially reduced and transmission efficiency may simultaneously be improved.

Abstract: A dual phone, and method of telecommunicating by using the same, have an ISDN phone and IP phone. Abstract: A vertical peaking method and the apparatus thereof comprises the steps of selectively passing vertical and horizontal detail information by low-pass filtering a video signal to detect image brightness, subtracting the detected image brightness data signal from a maximum allowable value, and multiplying the signal obtained from the subtraction operation by the vertical peaking signal, adding it to the luminance signal to output the luminance signal vertically peaked according to image brightness. The apparatus accomplishes the steps via hardware, in which the amount of vertical peaking is controlled by the image brightness, so that the vertical peaking of an image is accomplished uniformly.

Abstract: A circuit for controlling contrast signal is disclosed. The circuit processes contrast signal separately from the original composite video signal and then the pedestal level of the contrast signal is converted to be at zero level. Thereafter, such processed contrast signal is mixed with the original composite video signal.
