  • Publication number: 20210351050
Abstract: A system includes a substrate support on which to receive a transparent substrate, a non-contact sensor adapted to detect and image a dot pattern etched on a front surface of the transparent substrate, and a processing device attached to the non-contact sensor. The processing device may determine, using imaging data from the non-contact sensor, an orientation of a right-angled edge of the dot pattern. The processing device may determine, based on the orientation of the right-angled edge, whether a front surface of the transparent substrate is facing up or facing down. The processing device may also direct a robot to transfer the transparent substrate to a processing chamber dependent on whether the front surface of the transparent substrate is facing up or facing down.

  • Publication number: 20210352062
Abstract: A method includes enabling, by a tethering device that is tethered to a tethered device, a firewall to redirect network traffic from the tethered device to an authentication application executing on the tethering device. The method also includes receiving, by the tethering device from the tethered device, a user certificate of the tethered device during an authentication process. The method further includes verifying, by the tethering device, the user certificate of the tethered device using a certificate authority (CA) certificate of the tethered device that is installed on the tethering device. In addition, the method includes, in response to successful verification of the user certificate of the tethered device, disabling the firewall to allow the network traffic to and from the tethered device.

  • Publication number: 20210352534
Abstract: A device determines, from a network slice template associated with a network slice, a quality of service (QoS) profile for the network slice that includes performance metrics for corresponding QoS parameters associated with providing a service. The device monitors performance of the network slice in association with the QoS profile, and determines, based on the performance, that a performance indicator for a QoS parameter of the network slice is outside a threshold range of a performance metric. The device determines, based on the performance information and the QoS profile, a slice modification to the network slice template for the network slice, where the slice modification is configured to cause the performance indicator to be within the threshold range of the performance metric. The device causes a network slice orchestrator to update an instantiation of the network slice according to the slice modification and the network slice template.

  • Patent number: 11172368
Abstract: Location-aware spatial reuse may be provided. First, an Overlapping Basic Service Set (OBSS) transmission to be received at a device may be detected by a first Access Point (AP). Then the location of the device may be determined. Next, based on the determined location, it may be determined that the device is out of range of the first AP. Then, in response to determining that the device is out of range of the first AP, the first AP may perform an OBSS Packet Detect (PD) based Spatial Reuse (SR) transmission without reducing a transmit (Tx) power for the transmission.

  • Patent number: 11171204
Abstract: A method of forming a punch through stop region in a fin structure is disclosed. The method may include forming a doped glass layer on a fin structure and forming a masking layer on the doped glass layer. The method may further include removing a portion of the masking layer from an active portion of the fin structure, and removing an exposed portion the doped glass layer that is present on the active portion of the fin structure. A remaining portion of the doped glass layer is present on the isolation portion of the fin structure. Dopant from the doped glass layer may then be diffused into the isolation portion of the fin structure to form the punch through stop region between the active portion of the fin structure and a supporting substrate.

  • Patent number: 11170346
Abstract: A credentials verification network utilizes blockchain technology to track/verify credentials for candidates that can later be used in the hiring verification process. As implemented by nodes of a distributed network, a candidate receives from a first network node a secure credential generated by a credentialing source from an original credential document. The first node processes the secure credential according to a security feature (e.g., hash function) to create a transaction, and assigns an identifier to the transaction. The first node signs the transaction with a private key to create a transaction signature. The first node sends the signed transaction to a central server that broadcasts the transaction to the blockchain network. Once the network has accepted the transaction, the candidate will be notified and handed over the raw text document and transaction receipt ID. The candidate can forward the information to a recruiter or potential employer running a second node.

  • Patent number: 11170853
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for a modified write voltage for memory devices are described. In an example, the memory device may determine a first set of memory cells to be switched from a first logic state (e.g., a SET state) to a second logic state (e.g., a RESET state) based on a received write command. The memory device may perform a read operation to determine a subset of the first set of memory cells (e.g., a second set of memory cells) having a conductance threshold satisfying a criteria based on a predicted drift of the memory cells. The memory device may apply a RESET pulse to each of the memory cells within the first set of memory cells, where the RESET pulse applied to the second set of memory cells is modified to decrease voltage threshold drift in the RESET state.

  • Publication number: 20210344565
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable storage media are provided for provisioning a common subnet across a number of subscribers and their respective virtual networks using dynamically generated network policies that provide isolation between the subscribers. The dynamic generation of the network policies is performed when a host (e.g. client) is detected (via a switch) as the host joins the computing network via virtual networks. This ability to configure a common subnet for all the subscriber virtual networks allows these subscribers to more easily access external shared services coming from a headquarter site while keeping the separation and segmentation of multiple subscriber virtual networks within a single subnet. This allows the Enterprise fabric to be more simple and convenient to deploy without making security compromises.

  • Publication number: 20210345521
Abstract: An apparatus cools electronic circuitry. An enclosure surrounds the electronic circuitry and has plural surfaces. Air intake holes are disposed in at least one surface and face at least one first direction. Air exhaust holes are disposed in at least another surface and face at least one second direction different than the first direction. A heat sink is in thermal contact with the circuitry and conducts heat generated by the circuitry. When a fan operates, air is drawn from an exterior of the enclosure through the air intake holes, absorbs heat from the heat sink, and then is directed through the air exhaust holes into the exterior of the enclosure. The heat sink is further in thermal contact with the enclosure so that when the fan does not operate, heat is drawn from the circuitry to the enclosure via the heat sink and is dissipated from the exterior.
