Abstract: A method for providing a video conferencing setup is provided. The video conferencing setup has a table with a first and second portion, a display screen, an image capturing device and one or more participants positioned around the table. A height (HA) of a line of sight of at least one participant of the one or more of participants is determined from a ground level. A maximum viewing distance (DM) between the display screen and the at least one participant is determined. A height (HC) of the image capturing device from the ground level is determined based on height (HA) of line of sight and maximum viewing distance (DM). A position of the display screen is determined based on the height (HC) of the image capturing device. A length (X) of slope of top surface of second portion of the table is determined based on the display screen position.

  • Patent number: 10725859
Abstract: A system and method improve the performance of non-volatile memory storage by offloading parity computations to facilitate high speed data transfers, including direct memory access (DMA) transfers, between a remote host and a non-volatile memory based storage system, such as a flash memory based data storage device (e.g., SSD). In conjunction with writing to non-volatile memory storage, a stripe map is used to target a selected data storage device for parity generation. All data of a stripe is transmitted to the selected data storage device to generate the parity and the generated parity is propagated from the selected data storage device to other data storage devices in the stripe. The data for the stripe may also be propagated from the selected data storage device to the other data storage devices in the stripe.

  • Patent number: 10726372
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a user interface that enables an administrator to monitor the status of one or more long-running processes executing on a system. According to one or more embodiments, information about the long-running processes is received, analyzed and converted into a single format. This information is then stored in a storage device in the single format. In response to a command request periodically received from a user interface, summary information about the one or more long-running processes is provided to, and displayed on, the user interface. Upon receipt of a user selection of at least a portion of the summary information, the user interface issues a second command request that is similar to the first command request, but includes additional parameters, to retrieve additional information about the selected summary information. Once the additional information is received, the additional information is presented on the user interface.

  • Publication number: 20200233842
Abstract: When tenants migrate data from on-premises archiving solutions to a hosted service, tenants should maintain just enough data for compliance purposes and dispose of data that is no longer needed to reduce overall liability and compliance risk exposure. Embodiments are directed to providing selective import of data to a hosted service through a security and compliance system associated with the hosted service to reduce overall liability and compliance risk exposure. Data, usage pattern and security/compliance policies associated with a tenant of the hosted service may be analyzed. A model for importing tenant data may be created based on the analysis. A suggestion may be presented to the tenant based on the model, where the suggestion includes a filter for importing tenant data. In response to receiving a confirmation to implement the suggestion, the filter may be applied to the tenant data as it is imported to the hosted service.

  • Patent number: 10721133
Abstract: In one embodiment, a supervisory device designates a particular networking device among a set of networking devices as a seed device and one or more interfaces of the seed device as discovery interfaces. The supervisory device coordinates, starting from the one or more discovery interfaces of the seed device, discovery of a Layer 2 topology of the set of networking devices, by designating one or more interfaces of a discovered networking device as discovery interfaces. The supervisory device converts, starting from at least one of the network devices farthest from the seed device in the Layer 2 topology and ending with the seed device, links of the Layer 2 topology into Layer 3 links, to form an underlay network.

  • Patent number: 10720231
Abstract: A method includes receiving, by a processing device, a plurality of genome files. Each genome file corresponds to a different sample and defining a genetic sequence. The method also includes generating, by the processing device, a two-dimensional alignment file based on the genome files and a reference sequence. A first dimension of the alignment file corresponds to individual genetic sequences and each of the genetic sequences is aligned with respect to the reference sequence along a second dimension of the alignment file. The method includes separating, by the processing device, the alignment file into a plurality of groups and storing the groups in a non-transitory genome data store. Each group contains segments of the genetic sequences of two or more of the genomic files.

  • Publication number: 20200225808
Abstract: The invention is directed towards wearable devices and operating wearable devices in a visual mode when a display device of the wearable device is within a line-of-sight (LOS) of a user and operating the wearable device in an audible mode when the wearable device is outside the LOS of the user. The position of the display device, relative to the user's LOS, is automatically determined. The operational mode of the wearable device is automatically transitioned when a transition of position of the display device is detected. The wearable device may be a head-mounted display (HMD) device. A visual mode provides visual-based presentations of UIs, content, information, and data, via the display device. In contrast to a visual mode, an audible mode provides audio-based presentations of UIs, content, information, and data, via one or more audible speakers included in the wearable device.

  • Publication number: 20200228528
Abstract: Software development kit (“SDK”) applications may be implemented with user data on an enterprise end-user or shared device subsequent to a single check-out process on the device. A user profile and a context ID for a user can be accessed based on user provided credentials. An agent application can set a value of an agent context ID to a server context ID corresponding to the context ID for the user profile. A status of a local context ID (“LCID”) of an SDK application can be determined in response to an application launch. Using the LCD, a context ID comparison can be performed on the device with a value of a context ID from one of the SDK application, the server, and the agent application based on the LCID status. The SDK application can be implemented with user specific user data obtained from one of the SDK application and the agent application based on a result of the context ID comparison.
