Abstract: A compound or a combination of compounds for crystallization of poly-hydroxy-alkanoate (PHA), poly-lactic acid (PLA) or combinations thereof, wherein each of the compounds has a core motif with two oxalamide motifs, flanked by two arms, wherein the core motif has the formula: R—NH—C(O)—C(O)—NH—(CH2)n—NH—C(O)—C(O)—NH—R?, wherein n ranges from 1 to 10 and the arms R and R? are each independently chosen from: (i) H; (ii) an alkyl group with a total number of carbon atoms between 1 and 20; (iii) an aromatic ring; or (iv) an ester group, for example —X-Ester-Y, or —X-Ester-X-Ester-Y, wherein X is a saturated aliphatic hydrocarbon group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms, Y is chosen from H, an alkyl group with a total number of carbon atoms ranging from 1 and 20 or an aromatic ring. Abstract: The present invention provides a patty manager having a dispensing tray including one or more dispensing regions for receiving surgical patties, and a recovery tray having a plurality of recovery regions for receiving surgical patties. Each dispensing region may include a dispensing indicia located, and each recovery region can include a recovery indicia, which may correspond to a substantially similar dispensing indicia of the dispensing tray. A string guide may be disposed about at least a portion of the dispensing regions for the organization and management of the patty strings. A gripping tool may further be coupled to one of the dispensing or recovery trays.

Abstract: Apparatus, methods, and programs for protecting data on a wireless device may include a wireless device having a computer platform with a processing engine operable, based upon configurable parameters, to log data access attempt on the wireless device and transmit the log to a remote device. Furthermore, the wireless device may be configured to execute locally and remotely generated control commands on the wireless device, the commands operable to modify an operation of the wireless device. The embodiment may also include an apparatus operable to receive the transmitted log, analyze the received log and transmit a control command to the wireless device. The apparatus may further generate a data access report and make the report available to an authorized user.

Abstract: In general, the invention is directed to techniques for offloading mobile data traffic from a mobile core network to a broadband network. For example, as described herein, a breakout gateway forwards a service request from a mobile device and addressed to a service node. The service node designates an access point name (APN) for offload such that data traffic associated with service requests specifying the designated APN is to be offloaded to an offload network. The service node receives the service requests from the breakout gateway and, if the service request specifies the designated APN, the service node sends a request to the breakout gateway. The breakout gateway receives the request and assigns a routable PDP address to the mobile device. An offload module on the breakout gateway redirects mobile data traffic to the offload network when the source PDP address of the traffic is the previously assigned PDP address.

The apparatus categorizes this first wireless message (for example, with respect to service type, a specific service, and/or a communication thread) and transmits, via a second wireless transceiver, a second message that includes the categorization information but not all (or necessarily even any) of the content payload. Abstract: A method, system, computer system, and computer-readable medium to search contents of a large number of files. Data are read sequentially from a storage device without using a file system. Physical location information for the files is obtained and used to construct files from the data read. Such physical location information can be obtained, for example, by accessing a file system mapping catalog without causing the file system to read the files. Accessing the mapping catalog can be performed quickly because only metadata is read from the mapping catalog. The constructed files can then be searched for content without the overhead of the file system. Content such as virus signatures and keywords can therefore be discovered much more quickly. Furthermore, because the device is read sequentially, storage locations belonging to more than one file are read only once, further improving the performance of the content search.

The method also includes encrypting the user presence object with keys associated with the PAVP session. Abstract: A method, system, and computer-readable storage media for providing user based licensing of an application are provided herein. The method includes receiving user log-in information from a computing device at a licensing service in response to an input by a user and providing a license for an application to the computing device, wherein the license includes device specific information associated with the user. Abstract: An approach for enabling a user to anonymously access customized service information from a plurality of providers is described. A secure estimation platform retrieves personal information associated with a user based on a first request from the user. The platform then anonymizes the personal information and generates a second request for the estimate for the service based on the anonymized personal information. The second request is then transmitted to one or more providers of the service.

Abstract: A user may activate an embedded advertisement in an embedded window in a document, such as a web page. This embedded advertisement may be associated with a domain (a granddaughter domain) that is different than the domain associated with the embedded window (a daughter domain) and the domain associated with the document (a parent domain). In older browsers, cross-domain communication may not be supported in this circumstance. This problem is solved by opening a series of windows from the granddaughter domain, each of which is associated with a candidate origin of the document. Then, access commands associated with the windows are communicated to the domain of the document. Only the access command for the window having the correct origin of the domain of the document is processed, which results in content associated with the embedded advertisement being linked at a source and presented or displayed in the embedded advertisement.
