The outer cover material comprises a bond pattern formed of bond elements. The outer cover material has a basis weight in the range of about 20 gsm to about 35 gsm. A garment-facing surface of the outer cover material has a Kinetic Sliding Force in the range of about 6.0 to about 7.5. The absorbent article comprises a hydroentangled cushion material forming at least a portion of a garment-facing surface of the core wrap or positioned intermediate the core wrap and the backsheet. The cushion material has a basis weight in the range of about 20 gsm to about 40 gsm.

The distance between the innermost pair of contoured lines is from about 15 mm to about 25 mm or the amount of adhesive comprising the printed adhesive layer is such that the pattern coverage with the adhesive is from about 15% to about 30%.
