  • Publication number: 20220046647
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to logical channel management in a communication network. In an embodiment, a mapping between a plurality of logical channels of at least one terminal device and a plurality of resource sets of a network device is determined. The resource sets are assigned for communication between the at least one terminal device and the network device via the logical channels. If at least one resource set is overloaded, at least one of the plurality of logical channels is determined based on the mapping. Status information indicating that the at least one logical channel is in a congestion status is caused to be transmitted to a target terminal device of the at least one terminal device, the target terminal device communicating with the network device via the at least one logical channel.

Abstract: A method, a computer system, and a computer program product are provided. A computing system receives natural language first textual input from a second computing system and performs natural language processing. The natural language processing identifies vagueness and missing information in the first textual input. Additional information is obtained from at least one source responsive to identifying at least one of the vagueness and the missing information. The identified vagueness and the missing information are resolved based on the obtained additional information and a meaning of the first textual input is determined. • Publication number: 20220026977
Abstract: A set of read operations and a set of write operations for a set of drives in a storage system during a first time window is monitored. A write intensity of a first drive in the set is calculated based on the monitoring. The first drive is classified as a candidate for power reduction based on the write intensity. A write-intensive extent is identified on the first drive based on the monitoring. The write extensive extent is migrated to a second drive in the set of drives, and power to the first drive is reduced.

  • Publication number: 20220021724
Abstract: A 5G network conference call initiation is detected. Information associated with the conference call includes a topic, an agenda, participants, and goals, is received. The respective participants of the conference call are identified, based on a dedicate traffic channel (DTCH) of the respective participants of the conference call. An allocation threshold of conference call contribution associated with the respective participants is determined, based on the information received. Contributions of respective participants are calculated during the conference call based on a list of DTCHs of the respective participants. The contributions of the respective participants are compared to the allocation threshold and responsive to determining that the contributions of a first participant of the respective participants of the conference call exceed the allocation threshold, an action mitigating the excessive contribution in the conference call is performed.

  • Publication number: 20220001341
Abstract: The invention relates to Quench box assembly comprising quench pipe and quench box, to mix quench gas and vapor-liquid effluent from previous catalyst bed to achieve equilibrium temperature before entering the next bed. The quench pipe is in the form of ring having aperture while quench box consists of swirling section and a mixing chamber. The swirling section consists of inclined baffles to provide swirling action to incoming stream and the turbulence created by the swirling action increases the heat transfer rate thus requiring the smaller reactor volume to attain equilibrium temperature. The perforated plate being open from all the sides allowing the liquid to flow uniformly from all directions thus providing uniform distribution on the distributor tray. Hence, eliminates the requirement of rough liquid distributor before the distribution tray.

  • Patent number: 11212539
Abstract: Systems and methods for efficient lossless compression of captured raw image information are presented. A method can comprise: receiving raw image data from an image capture device, segregating the pixel data into a base layer portion and an enhanced layer portion, reconfiguring the base layer portion expressed in the first color space values from a raw capture format into a pseudo second color space compression mechanism compatible format, and compressing the reconfigured base layer portion of first color space values. The raw image data can include pixel data are expressed in first color space values. The segregation can be based upon various factors, including a compression benefits analysis of a boundary location between the base layer portion and enhanced layer portion. The reconfiguring the base layer portion can include separating the base layer portion based upon multiple components within the raw data; and forming base layer video frames from the multiple components.

  • Patent number: 11194742
Abstract: A computer-implemented method, according to one embodiment, includes: receiving an I/O queue creation request, and identifying a first CPU core that can satisfy the I/O queue creation request. A determination is made as to whether the first CPU core already has an I/O queue formed thereon. In response to determining that the first CPU core already has an I/O queue formed thereon, a determination is made as to whether any CPU cores do not already have an I/O queue formed thereon. In response to determining that each CPU core already has an I/O queue formed thereon, the host is informed that satisfying the I/O queue creation request will cause an overlap with existing I/O queues. In response to receiving an indication from the host to satisfy the I/O queue creation request despite the overlap, instructions are sent to use the first CPU core to satisfy the I/O queue creation request.
