  • Publication number: 20210019465
Abstract: The current disclosure describes techniques for managing planarization of features formed on a semiconductor wafer. The disclosed techniques achieve relative planarization of micro bump structures formed on a wafer surface by adjusting the pattern density of the micro bumps formed within various regions on the wafer surface. The surface area size of a micro bump formed within a given wafer surface region may be enlarged or reduced to change the pattern density. A dummy micro bump may be inserted into a given wafer surface region to increase the pattern density.

  • Publication number: 20200411193
Abstract: A decision support tool is provided for discharging a patient by predicting the probability of a patient's readmission with pneumonia based on information available prior to discharge. The information used to make the prediction may include labs, vitals, diagnoses, and medications from prior encounters and from the current encounter. At least some of this information may be used to compute one or more severity metrics for the patient, such as a cancer score, an epilepsy or seizure score, a pneumococcal pneumonia score, and an instability score, to be input into one or more prediction models. An ensemble of machine learning models may be applied to the patient information to generate a prediction of that patient being readmitted with pneumonia within a future time interval. Based on the prediction, one or more intervening actions may be initiated to reduce the probability of readmission.

  • Patent number: 10778660
Abstract: Systems and method for incorporating state machine information for tracking processing ownership of messages received by the network service providers. As individual messages are received, the state machine provides any previously tracked ownership state. If the message has not been previously allocated to a specific message processing system, a state can be updated that designates processing ownership. The processing ownership can be allocated based on the allocations among the message processing systems.

  • Publication number: 20200265956
Abstract: Improved risk categorization is provided for clinical decision support and forecasting future health care spend. A risk index is provided that improves on other risk stratification models by synthesizing electronic medical records and health questionnaires with an individual patient's claim histories. Machine learning algorithms catalogue patients into distinct group clusters, based on risk which may be associated with annual health care spending, thereby enabling administrators to forecast future health care spending on the individual and population level.

  • Patent number: 10734294
Abstract: An SEM image is acquired. The SEM image shows a metal line and a via hole disposed above the metal line. The via hole exposes a portion of the metal line vertically aligned with the via hole. A first portion and a second portion of the via hole are each vertically not aligned with the metal line and are disposed on opposite sides of the metal line. The acquired SEM image is processed to enhance a contrast between the first and second portions and their surrounding areas. A first dimension of the first portion and a second dimension of the second portion of the via hole are measured in a first direction. The first direction is different from a second direction along which the metal line extends. An overlay between the via hole and the metal line is determined based on the first dimension and the second dimension.

  • Publication number: 20200211701
Abstract: A decision support tool is provided for predicting a patient's length of stay within a healthcare unit, such as the emergency department. The predicted length of stay may be determined using patient information and facility information, which includes information about the department and the facility in which the department is located. The patient information and the facility information may be used to determine feature values input into a plurality of machine learning models. The models may be used sequentially such that initial models are used to predict variables relating to the patient's length of stay and output of such models is used with a length-of-stay model to determine the predicted length of stay. One or more response actions may be automatically initiated based on the predicted length of stay. Such response actions may include resource management actions to allocate resources within the healthcare unit.

  • Patent number: 10468137
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for managing treatment of children with a congenital cyanotic heart condition such as Tetralogy of Fallot (ToF) including determining predicted survival probabilities within a timeframe wherein patients await medical treatment such as surgical correction, based on amounts of a biomarker, such as BNP (brain natriuretic peptide) in serial samples of blood plasma from the subject and determining a Tetralogy of Fallot Index (TOFI®) score from the biomarker values. Some embodiments use TOFI score to determine severity and include scheduling and prioritizing medical treatment for patients based on the severity. In some embodiments, the TOFI score is calculated from a plurality of biomarker measurements, which are log-transformed and z-score transformed, by a mathematical survival predictive model, such as a Cox Proportional Hazards model.

  • Patent number: 10379827
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed to identify a frequently-executed region of code during runtime execution of the code, generate initial profiling code for the frequently-executed region of code, cause the initial profiling code to be executed for a minimum number of processing cycles of the computer, and identify replacement candidate store instruction(s) that store a value that is not read by the frequently-executed region of code during execution of the initial profiling code. Replacement candidate load instruction(s) may also be identified that load a value that is not stored or loaded by the frequently-executed region of code during execution of the initial profiling code. Optimized code for the frequently-executed region of code may be generated by replacing each of the replacement candidate store or load instructions(s) with a non-temporal store or load instruction. The optimized code may be executed instead of the frequently-executed region of code during subsequent runtime execution.

  • Publication number: 20190205996
Abstract: Systems, methods and computer-readable media are provided for predicting probability of a clinical invoice being paid by a specified date. A clinical invoice is a request for payment. The clinical invoice can take the form of an insurance claim, bill to a person (e.g., self-insured, co-pay), or submission to a government entity (e.g., Medicare, Medicaid). Healthcare facilities do not know how long they will have to wait between submitting an invoice and receiving compensation from government, insurance, or other payers. The methods described herein can be used to estimate the probability of payment occurring by a specified date. This information can be used to triage outstanding claims for investigation and to improve outstanding cash forecasts. The technology described herein uses survival curves to estimate when an invoice will be paid.

  • Publication number: 20190206553
Abstract: Methods and systems for managing patient attributions are provided. Interaction events between clinicians and the patient are identified, and using times associated with each interaction, a time series of the interactions for each clinician may be constructed. Care responsibility curves measuring a clinician's care responsibility level over time may be generated using the time series, an initial care responsibility level assigned to each interaction and a rate of decay for each interaction, which may be based on the type of action and type of clinician who interacted with the patient. A care responsibility score for each clinician may be determined from the clinician's care responsibility curve, and a patient-attribution assignment record may be created to attribute the patient to one of the clinicians based on a ranking of the clinicians' care responsibility scores.

  • Patent number: 10331693
Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for filters and event schema for categorizing and processing streaming event data. An event may be generated by a service that describes user interaction a client application executable on a client device. The event may be received as a data structure in a first format. A filter, such as a regular expression filter, may be applied to the data structure to identify an event type for the event. The data structure may be converted from the first format to a second format in accordance with a common event schema able to be interpreted by virtual compute engines.
