Publication number: 20050185019Abstract: A method manufactures a nozzle plate from a substrate with using a punch group including a plurality of punches. A nozzle group has plural nozzle rows in each of which plural nozzle holes are arranged at predetermined intervals in a predetermined direction. Plural nozzle-row sets are defined to each contain at least two nozzle rows having predetermined relative positional relationship with each other. The punch group has plural punch rows each corresponding to one of the nozzle rows contained in each nozzle-row set. Punches on each punch row are arranged at intervals equivalent to the predetermined intervals. The method includes forming a first hole group in the substrate with using the punch group; moving the substrate relative to the substrate in a first direction, which crosses the predetermined direction; and forming a second hole group in the substrate with using the punch group.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 24, 2005Publication date: August 25, 2005Applicant: Brother Kogyo Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Satoru Goto, Atsushi Ito

Publication number: 20040233268Abstract: A layer of thermal insulator is disposed on at least one of an electrically insulating substrate, an adhesive layer and a heat dissipating plate downstream to heating elements on the substrate in a supply direction of a color thermal recording sheet when executing thermal recording. In a manner that the thermal insulator is provided, when executing thermal recording on color thermal recording sheet, heat generated at heating elements is dissipated outside neither from the distal end of the insulating substrate downstream in a supply direction of the insulating substrate nor from the heat dissipating plate through adhesive layer. Since reduction in temperature is suppressed downstream in a supply direction, condensation of steam or vapor is prevented on the protective layer located at topmost of the thermal head, so that printing failure can be avoided.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 20, 2004Publication date: November 25, 2004Applicant: FUJI PHOTO FILM CO., LTD.Inventors: Yukiya Miyachi, Satoru Goto

Publication number: 20040107941Abstract: The object of the present invention is to enable the reliable compression ignition from starting of a pilot oil ignition gas engine in whose cylinder head there is provided a precombustion chamber unit with pilot injection valve that has liquid fuel injection valves and a precombustion chamber by using the injection of pilot oil from the liquid fuel injection valves, and to thereby allow the engine to be started smoothly. The position of a fuel rack (fuel control rod) that controls the discharge quantity of fuel injection pumps that feed pilot oil to the liquid fuel injection valves is controlled by a control apparatus via a rack control actuator (a position control actuator). In addition, the control apparatus counts the engine speed from pulses generated by a speed sensor and, in a region where the engine speed is low, sets the discharge quantity of the fuel injection pumps to a large quantity.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 3, 2003Publication date: June 10, 2004Inventor: Satoru Goto

Patent number: 6683636Abstract: In a thermal head, a partial glaze layer is formed on an alumina basal plate, and on that laminated are a heating body, an electrode and a protective layer. A photocatalytic layer composed of titanium oxide is provided on the protective layer. Stains of organic substances, adhered to the photocatalytic layer because of a transparent protective layer of a color thermal recording sheet softened in thermography, is photolized by ultraviolet ray from a magenta-fixing lamp, which loses a coloring capacity of a magenta thermal coloring layer.Type: GrantFiled: March 11, 2003Date of Patent: January 27, 2004Assignee: Fuji Photo Film Co., Ltd.Inventors: Satoru Goto, Takao Miyazaki

Publication number: 20040011303Abstract: The gas engine of the present invention has a pilot oil fuel valve, a pilot oil pump, and first and second pipes connected to a pilot oil main pipe, for each of a plurality of combustion chambers. An operating pilot oil tank and an ignition stimulant-added pilot oil tank are connected via a switching valve to a third pipe, connected to an end of the pilot oil main pipe. Before operating stops, the pilot oil is discharged by opening an exhaust valve, and thereafter, the switching valve is switched and pilot oil which the ignition stimulant has been added to is supplied into the pipe. Consequently, the pilot oil downstream from the main pipe is replaced with the pilot oil which the ignition stimulant has been added to. Therefore, at the time of the next activation, pilot oil which the ignition stimulant has been added to is sprayed from the fuel valve, and, as a result, misfire at the time of activation is reduced, and a highly reliable engine is obtained.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 23, 2003Publication date: January 22, 2004Inventors: Satoru Goto, Yoshifumi Nishi

Publication number: 20040003805Abstract: The present invention has been realized in order to keep the cylinder exhaust temperature of a gas engine within a predetermined range, and thereby prevent the generation of misfire and knocking. In the present invention, in S1, when the number of rotations of the engine is greater than a predetermined number, in S2, the exhaust temperatures of the cylinders are sampled at predetermined intervals, in S3, an average of the exhaust temperatures is calculated, in S4, the load factor at that point is determined, in S5, the average exhaust temperature Tave is compared with the exhaust temperature T(n) of each cylinder, and it is determined whether the deviation &Dgr;Tn is greater or smaller than the set deviation Tlimit for that load factor. When the deviation &Dgr;Tn is smaller, the exhaust temperature is within the set deviation and there is no need to adjust the fuel spray period, and therefore the sequence returns to S2.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 23, 2003Publication date: January 8, 2004Inventors: Yoshiharu Ono, Satoru Goto, Yoshifumi NIshi, Sadao Nakayama

Publication number: 20030040967Abstract: A customer of an eating house orders refreshments by pressing a first touch panel provided at a customer's seat, watching a liquid-crystal monitor on which a menu of the refreshment and an average cooking time thereof are displayed. A cook inputs cooking-state information with a second touch panel provided in a kitchen when cooking is started and is completed. The cooking-state information is displayed on the liquid-crystal monitor so that it is possible to confirm a cooking state of the ordered refreshment. When the ordered refreshment is untouched, the customer can cancel or urge the refreshment by pressing the first touch panel. Upon instructing a check with the first touch panel, the check is printed out from a printer. The customer can order, cancel and urge the refreshments without calling a waitperson.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 2, 2002Publication date: February 27, 2003Inventors: Takao Miyazaki, Keizo Uchioke, Satoru Goto, Kazuo Okoyama

Patent number: 6408750Abstract: A color thermosensitive recording sheet extends two-dimensionally in main and sub scan directions perpendicular to each other. In a thermal printer for use with the recording sheet, two cutters remove front and rear margins from the recording sheet by cutting the recording sheet along lines extending in the main scan direction. Two slitters remove first and second side margins from the recording sheet by slitting the recording sheet along lines extending in the sub scan direction. A slitter shifter shifts the slitters in the main scan direction between a slitting position and home position. The slitters are set at the side margins when in the slitting position, and away from the recording sheet when in the home position. An externally operable mode selector selectively sets a marginless mode and margin mode. A controller causes the slitter shifter to shift the slitters to the slitting position when the marginless mode is set, and actuates the cutters and slitters.Type: GrantFiled: June 23, 2000Date of Patent: June 25, 2002Assignee: Fuji Photo Film Co., Ltd.Inventors: Satoru Goto, Akimasa Kaya
