  • Publication number: 20110160705
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a guidewire having high safety and improved flexibility and rotation followability. This guidewire has an inner coil that surrounds a distal side portion of a core shaft, and an outer coil that surrounds the inner coil and the distal side portion of the core shaft. A front end of the outer coil and a front end of the inner coil are joined to a tip of the core shaft by a tip plug. Further, the guidewire has a coil joint that joins only the outer coil and the inner coil to each other. With this configuration, the flexibility of the inner coil is maintained. Moreover, rotation of a proximal side of the guidewire is transmitted to the inner coil not only from the core shaft but also from the outer coil. This leads to improvement in rotation followability.

  • Publication number: 20110160703
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a guidewire having high safety and improved flexibility and rotation followability, and capable of directing a catheter with ease. A guidewire of the present invention has an inner coil that surrounds a distal side portion of a core shaft, and an outer coil that surrounds the inner coil and the distal side portion of the core shaft. The core shaft has a second flat part in flattened shape in substantially contact with an inner peripheral surface of the inner coil. With this configuration, the distal side portion of the guidewire is protected by a double coil structure, while having high torsional stiffness. This leads to improvement in safety and rotation followability, while allowing a catheter to be directed with ease.

  • Patent number: 7745714
Abstract: Provided is a recording or playback apparatus capable of separating a musical piece from an audio including the musical piece and a speech through a simple arithmetic process. A cut point detector detects, as a cut point, a time point at which an audio signal level or an amount of change in the audio signal level is not lower than a predetermined value. A frequency characteristic amount calculator calculates a characteristic amount in a frequency area of the audio signal only at each cut point and in its proximity. A cut point judging unit judges an attribute of the cut point on a basis of the calculated characteristic amount of the frequency. A music section detector detects a start and end points of each music section on a basis of the attribute and an interval between sampling points.

  • Publication number: 20100085393
Abstract: A time stamp is a device that prints time information on a time card inserted into a time card slot. The time card slot is formed to be inclined downwardly in the depthwise direction of the time stamp at an angle of 8 to 10 degrees or so with the mount surface of the time stamp being a reference. The time stamp has a mount portion to be attached to a wall surface. The time card slot extends in a direction orthogonal to the rear surface of the time stamp.

  • Publication number: 20090151626
Abstract: A coating apparatus is provided which does not form lines having a constant pitch in applying a coating solution to a web (16) or a sheet medium by using a coating rod (12A, 12B, 12C) or a coating roller (12) even at a high speed. The present invention relates to a coating apparatus for applying a coating solution to a continuously running support medium via a coating rod (12C). A coating rod (12C) is a cylindrical body having an outer surface in which convex sections having a width P1 and concave sections having a width P2 are alternately formed in an axial direction of the surface, so that a series of convex and concave sections having a constant pitch P=P1+P2 are formed. Each of the convex sections includes a flat part having a maximum height roughness (Rz) of 3 ?m or less, and the flat part has a width P3 of 0.55 P or more.

  • Publication number: 20090044688
Abstract: Characteristic amounts are calculated from each of multiple musical piece contents, and then time points when the characteristic amounts exceed a threshold are detected as cut points. Information on the cut point concerning each of the multiple musical piece contents is stored. Based on the stored information on the cut point, a judgment is made as to whether the multiple musical piece contents match each other.

  • Publication number: 20090012637
Abstract: An audio variation point detector detects whether a variation amount of audio power of the received audio signal is greater than a first threshold, and detects a variation point where the audio power variation is greater than the first threshold. A song detector determines whether the vicinity of the detected variation point is a song, based on a feature amount in a frequency domain of the audio signal in the vicinity of the variation point, and detects a song based on the determination. A chorus position detector detects, as a chorus position candidate, a position where the variation amount of audio power takes a maximum value in the detected song, determines whether a likelihood between a reference feature amount and the feature amount in the frequency domain of the detected chorus position candidate is greater than a second threshold, and detects the chorus position candidate as a chorus position if the likelihood is greater than the second threshold.

  • Patent number: 7470327
Abstract: A peripheral surface of a coating rod has an area where grooves (convex portions) are formed. This area is ground by a grinding apparatus by which a maximum height Ry of the rod surface is adjusted to 15 ?m or less. Further, a ratio of D/W is adjusted to 0.01 or more, wherein D is a total distance of the convex portions of the rod actually abutting on a web in an axial direction of the rod, and W is a coating width of the web. Furthermore, straightness of the rod is adjusted to 30 ?m or less per 1 m, and roundness of the rod is adjusted to 10 ?m or less. Micro-projections are removed by grinding so that scratches of a coating surface are prevented from occurring. Coating unevenness is prevented by improving the straightness and the roundness.
