  • Patent number: 7317319
Abstract: Intensities of electric and magnetic fields are measured by locating a conductor and reference conductor in the electromagnetic field so the conductor and reference conductor simultaneously output plural currents that are respectively simultaneously measured in different directions relative to the electromagnetic field. On the basis of the magnitudes of the currents and the phase difference, an electric field component current generated in the conductor by an electric field included in each current and a magnetic field component current generated in the conductor by a magnetic field included in each output current is calculated. On the basis of the magnitudes of the calculated electric field component current and the magnetic field component current, the electric field and magnetic field intensities are measured.

  • Patent number: 7098677
Abstract: A conductor is disposed within an area where electric coupling and magnetic coupling take place between the conductor and a device-under-test (DUT) in at least a portion of frequency band width, and the value of composite currents that is outputted in a plurality of directions different from each other against the DUT, is measured. Based on the measured plurality of values of the composite currents, the first electric current due to electric coupling between the DUT and the conductor and the second electric current due to magnetic coupling between the DUT and the conductor are calculated. From these first and second electric current values, electric field intensity and magnetic field intensity are calculated.

  • Patent number: 7023688
Abstract: In this laminated ceramic capacitor, a heat radiation conductor is provided on a top face of a rectangular parallelepiped laminated chip where a plurality of first conductor layers and a plurality of second conductor layers are arranged alternatively through each ceramic layer with facing each other. In addition, the heat radiation conductor is connected to the upper edge of each second conductor layer. Therefore, when heat is generated in each first conductor layer and each second conductor layer which play the role of internal electrodes, the heat of each second conductor layer is directly transferred from each second conductor layer to the heat radiation conductor, and is radiated outside from the heat radiation conductor.

  • Publication number: 20060061449
Abstract: A laminated varistor having excellent radiation capability is provided. A heat conductor portion is disposed on the top surface of a rectangular parallelepiped laminated chip including a plurality of first conductor layers and a plurality of second conductor layers disposed alternately in a lateral direction with varistor layers therebetween, and the heat conductor portion is connected to a top end of each second conductor layer. Therefore, when the heat from an exothermic device, e.g., an IC, disposed in the vicinity is transferred to each of the first conductor layers and the second conductor layers via a first electrode portion and a second electrode portion or when heat generation occurs as a current passes through the varistor layers, the heat is directly and highly efficiently transferred from each second conductor layer to the heat conductor portion, and is effectively released to the outside from the heat conductor portion.

  • Patent number: 6993358
Abstract: An information processing device (10) includes first (12) and second (13) wireless communication units, and a communication monitoring and controlling unit (11). When the first communication unit is communicating with another information processing device (20), the monitoring and controlling unit monitors the communication state of the second communication unit and adjusts a transmission condition of a wireless transceiver of the first communication unit based on the monitored communication state of the second communication unit. When the second communication unit establishes or maintains a connection, the transmission power of the transceiver of the first communication unit is lowered, and when the transceiver of the second communication unit neither establishes nor maintains a connection, the transmission power of the first communication unit is at a higher level.
