  • Patent number: 7363465
Abstract: A semiconductor device comprising a bus master and a bus slave connected by a second bus is provided. A bus control unit (BCU) comprises a first relative address control circuit that performs a process for requesting the access using a relative address to a semiconductor storage medium through the second bus, the process including generation of a relative address corresponding to an absolute address based on the received absolute address and generation of an identification signal indicating the relative address. The memory controller comprises a second relative address control circuit that decides whether the received access address is a relative address or not and, if the received access address is a relative address, calculates an absolute address corresponding to the relative address.

  • Publication number: 20080025643
Abstract: An image processing system includes a frequency conversion section, a frequency component generation section, an enlarged image area generation section and an enlarged image generation section. The frequency conversion section converts neighboring areas of each area in question into plural frequency components. The areas in question and the neighboring areas of the areas in question are included in an input image. The frequency component generation section generates predetermined frequency components from the frequency components of each neighboring area. The enlarged image area generation section generates an enlarged image area for each area in question, using (i) an image region which contains each area in question and which has a predetermined size and (ii) the predetermined frequency components. The enlarged image generation section places the enlarged image areas to generate an enlarged image for the input image.

  • Patent number: 6814033
Abstract: A temperature sensitive fluid type fan coupling apparatus obtains linear characteristics without spoiling the drag performance. The fan coupling apparatus has a sealed case divided by a partition into an oil reservoir chamber and a torque transfer chamber. A valve is adapted to open and close an outflow regulating port in the partition in accordance with external ambient temperature. A driving disk is in the torque transfer chamber, and the transfer of torque is controlled by increasing and decreasing an effective contact surface of the oil with the driving disk. An idle oil reservoir chamber is formed in a hollow inner portion of the driving disk. A communication port is made in a side wall of the oil reservoir chamber and communicates with the torque transfer clearance. The communication port is closer to an inner circumference of the torque transfer chamber.

  • Patent number: 6560692
Abstract: The data processing circuit of this invention enables efficient description and execution of processes that act upon the stack pointer, using short instructions. It also enables efficient description of processes that save and restore the contents of registers, increasing the speed of processing of interrupts and subroutine calls and returns. A CPU that uses this data processing circuit comprises a dedicated stack pointer register SP and uses an instruction decoder to decode a group of dedicated stack pointer instructions that specify the SP as an implicit operand. This group of dedicated stack pointer instructions are implemented in hardware by using general-purpose registers, the PC, the SP, an address adder, an ALU, a PC incrementer, internal buses, internal signal lines, and external buses.
