  • Patent number: 7397443
Abstract: A spatial image type display includes a front display device and a rear display device having display surfaces for displaying images in the same direction. The display devices are arranged with a predetermined spacing between their respective display surfaces. The display surfaces are provided with sub pixels formed at almost the same pixel pitches, and aligned with each other. Transparent regions are formed next to the respective sub pixels of the front display device. The light emitted from the sub pixels of the rear display device is transmitted through the transparent regions, and emitted toward the viewer along with the light emitted from the sub pixels of the front display device. A stereoscopic image is thus displayed in accordance with the brightnesses of the images displayed on the front display device and the rear display device. These display devices are made of an organic EL display or a liquid crystal display.

  • Publication number: 20070265522
Abstract: A magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) system includes an ECG detector for the patient object being imaged and an element for performing an MRI pulse sequence. An imaging unit defined by the pulse sequence is longer in temporal length than one heart beat represented by the ECG signal. An MR signal is acquired from the object in response to the pulse sequence and an MR image based on the acquired MR signal is produced. A plurality of divided MT pulses can be applied instead of the conventional single MT pulse. In this case, an SE-system pulse sequence having a shorter echo train spacing is used, to generate sounds by applying gradient pulses incorporated in an imaging pulse sequence so as to automatically instruct a patient to perform an intermittent breath hold during three-dimensional scanning.

  • Publication number: 20070203412
Abstract: Image reconstruction is executed by using magnetic resonance signals obtained by asynchronousmulti slice dynamic imaging without using any ECG-gated technique to obtain a plurality of MR images for each time phase with respect to a plurality of cross-sections corresponding to sequential changes in radio-frequency pulse frequency. The heart of a subject to be examined in MR images in the same time phase is developed by being divided into a plurality of small regions, and a developed view representing the average value of pixel values in each of the small regions is generated. For example, the developed views in the respective time phases are continuously displayed in a time-series manner.

  • Patent number: 7206105
Abstract: A hologram record apparatus (100) includes a spatial light modulator (15) and a control device (18). The spatial light modulator (15) is arranged on an optical path of signal light (L1) and divided into a plurality of cell blocks (151) arranged in a matrix. Each of the cell blocks (151) is further divided into a plurality of cells (152) arranged in a matrix. The spatial light modulator (15) can perform modulation on the cell basis. The control device (18) controls the spatial light modulator so as to modulate the signal light according to a plurality of record information sets to be recorded on a hologram record medium (200). Pluralities of modulation units (153) existing in the same cell block are not made into identical patterns. Since a plurality of cell blocks having a large pitch as compared to the pixel pitch are simultaneously or successively turned on/off, it is possible to reduce the distance between the zeroth-order light and the higher-order light.
