  • Patent number: 11582275
Abstract: An online meeting system begins the process of connecting a user to an online meeting when the user enters a prejoin dialog for choosing meeting settings, rather than waiting until the user chooses to actually join the meeting after entering settings. Starting the meeting connection process at this time allows a shorter perceived connection time to the meeting and thus reduces user frustration with the meeting system.

  • Publication number: 20230009392
Abstract: Methods for detecting digital or physical tampering of an imaged physical credential include the actions of: receiving a digital image representing a physical credential having one or more high value regions, the digital image including an array of pixels; processing the digital image with a tamper detector to generate an output corresponding to an intrinsic characteristic of the digital image, the tamper detector configured to perform a pixel-level analysis of the high value regions of the digital image with respect to a predetermined tampering signature; and determining, based on the output from the tamper detector, whether the digital image has been digitally tampered with.

  • Publication number: 20220413951
Abstract: Disclosed here is a system to automatically predict and reduce hardware related outages. The system can obtain a performance indicator associated with a wireless telecommunication network including a system performance indicator or an application log, along with a machine learning model trained to predict and resolve a hardware error based on the performance indicator. The machine learning model can detect an anomaly associated with the performance indicator by detecting an infrequent occurrence in the performance indicator. The machine learning model can determine whether the anomaly is similar to a prior anomaly indicating a prior hardware error. Upon determining that the anomaly is similar to the prior hardware error, the machine learning model can predict an occurrence of the hardware error.

  • Publication number: 20220405028
Abstract: An example pull-print server may include a processor and a memory coupled to the processor. The memory may include a receiving unit to receive a print job including variable print data, a reference identifier, and a passcode specific to the print job. Further, the memory may include a mapping unit to identify a template corresponding to the reference identifier and store mapping information that maps the variable print data and the passcode to the identified template. Furthermore, the memory may include a controller to receive, via a printer, a pull print request including the passcode. In response to receiving the pull print request, the controller may retrieve the variable print data and the stored template corresponding to the passcode using the mapping information. Further, the controller may generate print content by overlaying the variable print data onto the identified template and transmit the print content to the printer.

  • Publication number: 20220321548
Abstract: An illustrative user device of a user establishes a secured connection between the user device and a server of an organization. Via the secured connection, the user device receives schedule information of a virtual meeting associated with the user. The user device authenticates a proximity-based connection between the user device and a room conference system. In response to the authenticating of the proximity-based connection, the user device transmits the schedule information of the virtual meeting to the room conference system. The room conference system is configured to use the schedule information to connect to a conference server to launch the virtual meeting on the room conference system. Corresponding methods and systems are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 11304246
Abstract: A server allows pairing of a computing device with a companion computing device so that they may automatically connect to one another in the future. Pairing is accomplished by responding to a user request to pair a particular companion device by identifying computing devices associated with a particular user account, and directing those devices to monitor whether they are in range of a proximity signal (such as a BLUETOOTH® signal). A user interface on the companion device displays a list of devices specific to the user that are in proximity to the companion computing device, so that the user can choose a device to pair with the companion computing device.

  • Publication number: 20210334092
Abstract: A system is provided giving an instant preview of the appearance of a compiled native application on a mobile computing device during an application development process as the application would appear as if installed from a digital distribution platform such as an app store, without compiling the application. The system previews an accurate representation of the appearance of the app in the user interface without compiling the app, and the content management modules allows the user to iteratively change the elements to obtain a desired appearance for the app.

  • Patent number: 11061800
Abstract: Technologies for assigning a user-generated issue report to an appropriate team for investigation are disclosed. A log file associated with an issue report is parsed to create an object model. The object model is a hierarchy of objects containing data emitted over time by a computer application associated with the issue report. Rules analyze the content of the object model, and when a rule is satisfied, the issue report is assigned to a team associated with the rule for investigation. Rules may access objects in the object model on a per-component level, thereby allowing issues to be assigned to teams at the level of individual components. Rules may also perform a root cause analysis of the issue based on the object model.
