  • Publication number: 20200379871
Abstract: Technologies for assigning a user-generated issue report to an appropriate team for investigation are disclosed. A log file associated with an issue report is parsed to create an object model. The object model is a hierarchy of objects containing data emitted over time by a computer application associated with the issue report. Rules analyze the content of the object model, and when a rule is satisfied, the issue report is assigned to a team associated with the rule for investigation. Rules may access objects in the object model on a per-component level, thereby allowing issues to be assigned to teams at the level of individual components. Rules may also perform a root cause analysis of the issue based on the object model.

  • Publication number: 20200285450
Abstract: A system is provided giving an instant preview of the appearance of a compiled native application on a computing device during an application development process as the application would appear as if installed from a digital distribution platform, without compiling the application. The system includes a database, a processing unit, and a user interface. An application template module may include one or more application templates. An application template is selected and loaded into a content management module. The application templates provide application elements and features that can be included in a native application. The user can select and arrange the application elements. Upon a computer command, the content management module previews an accurate representation of the appearance of the app in the user interface without compiling the app, and the content management modules allows the user to iteratively change the elements to obtain a desired appearance for the app.

  • Publication number: 20200162986
Abstract: A content streaming apparatus, method, and computer readable media steer a client device to from one wireless access point to another based on usage history of the client device. A controller is configured to establish a wireless streaming session between one or more access points and one or more client devices. An initial profile category is assigned by one or more access point to the client device based on one or more profile categories. A self-learning algorithm is executed to collect usage data of the client device and store the usage to create a usage history profile for the client device. The controller provides instruction to steer the client device to one of the access points based on the usage history profile of the client. Preferably, the content streaming apparatus is a home network controller. From the software/client end a steering app is downloadable to the client device for executing software associated with the self-learning algorithm.

  • Patent number: 10558979
Abstract: Unauthorized products are prevented from being sold on online websites. Product identifier keys and private authentication keys are stored in a database of an authentication server. Each identifier key serves as an address for its corresponding authentication key in the database. A product and a security seal are displayed on a webpage served by a website. An identifier key and an authentication key for the displayed product are encoded into the security seal. In response to selecting the security seal, the website extracts the encoded identifier key and authentication keys, and sends them to the database. The authentication server determines whether the displayed product is genuine and authorized when a match is made between the extracted keys and the stored keys.

  • Patent number: 10448106
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer readable media can be operable to facilitate the generation and utilization of a profile based channel lineup. A multimedia device delivering video services to one or more users may monitor channel and content requests received by the individual one or more users, and the multimedia device may create a profile for each of the users, wherein the profile includes a channel list of only those channels that are frequently tuned to by the respective user. The multimedia device may create an association between a user, a frequently viewed channel, and a time at which the channel is typically viewed by the user. A profile based viewing session or feature may be enabled at the multimedia device, wherein tuning decisions, channel change responses, and program information displays are controlled by the multimedia device based on a profile associated with a selected user.

  • Publication number: 20190228178
Abstract: Authorized access to a digital asset is obtained by associating an authentication tag with a physical object accessible to a user, by configuring the tag with a first dataset comprised of a random distribution of three-dimensional elements and with a second dataset comprised of machine-readable data elements, and by authorizing a mobile device to scan the elements. The first and second datasets together comprise an authentication key that uniquely identifies the object and, in turn, the user. The authentication key is scanned by a device in response to a prompt from the digital asset to obtain scanned key data. Predetermined key data and a device identifier indicative of the authorized device are stored in a database. Access to the digital asset is allowed when the scanned key data matches the stored predetermined key data, and when the device scanning the data is authorized.
