  • Publication number: 20170206481
Abstract: A predictive engine on a computer environment comprising a shared pool of configurable computing resources is executed to perform a predictive analysis on data pipelined into the computer environment, the data received from a plurality of sources and in a plurality of different formats, the predictive engine generating a network level cost information based on the predictive analysis on a dynamic and continuous basis. Asynchronous communication comprising the network level cost information from the predictive engine is received and a set of candidate nodes for order fulfillment is generated based on the network level cost information and a defined distance between the set of candidate nodes and a target destination. An optimization engine on the computer environment is invoked that filters the set of candidate nodes. A number of fulfillment nodes that meet one or more of a constraint and preconfigured rule is output.

  • Publication number: 20170206591
Abstract: A method and system for considering customized capacity utilization cost in node order fulfillment. The method includes receiving by a customized capacity utilization cost module an electronic record of a current order. The method includes retrieving data of a plurality of nodes and calculating an actual capacity utilization. The method includes automatically converting the actual capacity utilization of each node of the plurality of nodes and a predetermined maximum amount of cost to balance capacity utilization across the plurality of nodes into a customized capacity utilization cost, and transmitting the customized capacity utilization cost to an order fulfillment engine. The method includes receiving by the order fulfillment engine the current order, the processing cost data, and the customized capacity utilization cost. The method includes automatically calculating a fulfillment cost and identifying a node-order assignment with the lowest fulfillment cost.

  • Publication number: 20170206590
Abstract: A method and system for evaluating node fulfillment capacity in node order assignment. The method includes receiving by a network average capacity utilization cost module an electronic record of a current order. The method includes retrieving data of a plurality of nodes, calculating an actual capacity utilization on an expected date, and determining a probability of backlog on the expected date. The method includes generating a network average capacity utilization cost model, automatically converting one or more of a plurality of costs and capacity utilization into a capacity utilization cost, and transmitting the capacity utilization cost of each node to an order fulfillment engine. The method includes receiving by the engine the current order, the processing cost data, and the capacity utilization cost. The method includes automatically calculating a fulfillment cost and identifying a node with the lowest fulfillment cost for assignment.

  • Publication number: 20170199787
Abstract: Disclosed are examples of systems, apparatus, methods and computer program products for batch job processing using a database system. In some implementations, a data object relationship structure of a first record can be identified. Based on a type of data dependency of the data object relationship structure, a first record and a second record can be determined to be associated. A first batch number can be assigned to the first record and the second record. A first batch job can be defined. It can be determined that a third record is not associated with the first record. A second batch number can be assigned to the third record and a second batch job can be defined.

  • Patent number: 9697595
Abstract: A user identifies an unwanted object in a source image. Related images are identified on the basis of timestamp and/or geolocation metadata. Matching masks are identified in the source image, wherein each of the matching masks is adjacent to the selection mask. Features in the selection and matching masks which also appear in one of the related images are identified. The related image having a maximum of features which are tracked to a source image matching mask, but also a minimum of features which are tracked to the source image selection mask, is identified as a best-match related image. By mapping the source image matching masks onto the best-match related image, a seed region can be located in the best-match related image. This seed region is used for filling in the source image. This allows the unwanted object to be replaced with a visually plausible background having a reasonable appearance.

  • Patent number: 9665930
Abstract: Examples are directed to selective editing of digital images using editing tools having persistent tool settings. A source image is opened as a target image in an image editing application. Once opened in the image editing application, the target image includes a plurality of image layers. Visual elements of the target image file are then edited using tools in the image editing application. For each tool used, a tool identifier and the relevant tool settings are saved and associated with the corresponding layer in a target image file. Upon closing and later re-opening the target image file, the saved tool identifier and tool settings are presented for display for further image editing in subsequent user sessions.

  • Publication number: 20170076472
Abstract: A content aware pattern stamping tool that preserves the visual texture of an area within an image when filling the area with a pattern is provided. In one embodiment, the pattern stamping tool analyzes an area to be filled with a pattern to determine textural characteristics of the area. These textural characteristics may include reflectance and shading. Once the pattern stamping tool has determined the textural characteristics of the area, the pattern stamping tool fills the area with the pattern and applies the textural characteristics to the filled area. Through application of the textural characteristics, the pattern stamping tool generates an image that combines the pattern with the original textural characteristics of the area.

  • Publication number: 20170061250
Abstract: Disclosed herein are technologies directed to discovering semantic similarities between images and text, which can include performing image search using a textual query, performing text search using an image as a query, and/or generating captions for images using a caption generator. A semantic similarity framework can include a caption generator and can be based on a deep multimodal similar model. The deep multimodal similarity model can receive sentences and determine the relevancy of the sentences based on similarity of text vectors generated for one or more sentences to an image vector generated for an image. The text vectors and the image vector can be mapped in a semantic space, and their relevance can be determined based at least in part on the mapping. The sentence associated with the text vector determined to be the most relevant can be output as a caption for the image.
