  • Patent number: 11299803
Abstract: A method of coating a component includes attaching the component to a support that is configured to hold a plurality of components and placing a base of the support in a holder that is attached to rotatable member of a fixture, wherein an axis of the holder is parallel to an axis of rotation of the rotatable member. The method also includes transporting the fixture into a coating chamber wherein a direction of an exit stream of a coater in oriented perpendicularly to the axis of rotation, exposing the fixture and the component to a reverse transfer arc cleaning/pre-heating procedure, and exposing the fixture and the component to a coating procedure during which a coating is directed at the component in a direction perpendicular to the axis of rotation while the rotatable member is rotating. The method further includes transporting the fixture and removing the component from the support fixture.

  • Patent number: 11290473
Abstract: Using a set of anomalies indicative of a malicious pattern of behavior collected from data to determine new alerts for anomalies included in subsequently collected data. A set of anomalies found in data collected from data sources is accessed. The set of anomalies is determined by a prior analysis to be indicative of a malicious pattern of behavior by entities associated with the set of anomalies. Data that is subsequently collected from the data sources is searched to determine if any of the data includes the set of anomalies. Alerts are generated for any of the subsequently collected data that includes the set of anomalies.

  • Patent number: 11215037
Abstract: There is provided a sandscreen joint (110) capable of providing zonal isolation. The ends of the portion of the (110) are capable of extension on activation of the sandscreen (110), including transition areas (135), which are coated with an elastomer sleeve (134). On activation of the sandscreen (110), the sleeve (134) is pushed out into contact with the bore wall and serves to isolate the zone on one side of the activated sleeve (134) from the zone on the other side of the sleeve (134). Thus, the provision of the sleeve (134) on the activated sandscreen (110) may prevent fluid from flowing axially along the bore between the bore wall and sandscreen. This may serve to protect the weave at the transition area (135), preventing axial flow through the transition areas (135).

  • Patent number: 11173045
Abstract: A trial medical instrument for aligning an acetabular component, comprising: a first portion configured to fit within a patient's acetabulum; and a second portion extending from the first portion; wherein the second portion extends from the first portion in a direction that mimics a shape formed by a femoral implant component coupled with an acetabular implant component when a femur to which the femoral implant component is coupled is in a position relative to an acetabulum to which the acetabular implant component is coupled that is near an extent of a typical range of motion of the femur. As used herein, the phrase “extent of a typical range of motion” describes typical angular displacements of a femur as usually limited by patient anatomy.

  • Publication number: 20210345112
Abstract: Methods and apparatus for detecting and handling evil twin access points (APs). The method and apparatus employ trusted beacons including security tokens that are broadcast by trusted APs. An Evil twin AP masquerades as a trusted AP by broadcasting beacons having the same SSID as the trusted AP, as well as other header field and information elements IE in the beacon frame body containing identical information. A sniffer on the trusted AP or in another AP that is part of a Trusted Wireless Environment (TWE) receives the beacons broadcasts by other APs in the TWE including potential evil twin APs. The content in the header and one or more IEs in received beacons are examined to determine whether a beacon is being broadcast by an evil twin.

  • Patent number: 10743347
Abstract: Methods, apparatus and systems supporting coexistence of wireless devices and equipment in shared wireless medium environments through the use of multiple PHYs. The techniques provided herein may be applied to various types of wireless devices and equipment. Under one example, a wireless device transmits and/or receives signals using one or more frequencies and/or channels within shared wireless medium environments in which other wireless equipment is operating, such as access points and stations in wireless local area networks (WLANs). The wireless devices are configured to coexist with the operations of the other wireless equipment within the shared wireless medium environment by adapting its transmission operations to utilize frequencies or channels that do not interfere with other equipment and/or implementing co-channel and shared channels operations under which access to channels is implemented using standardized WLAN protocols such as, but not limited to PHY and MAC protocols used for 802.

  • Patent number: 10633187
Abstract: A mesh-like conveyor belt is capable of varying in width and shape as it travels. The conveyor belt comprises a plurality of links, joints, and control elements. The joints connect the links to each other and allow the links to change their orientation within the conveying surface of the conveyor belt. The plurality of links and joints allow the conveyor belt to vary in width, shape, trajectory, and surface speed while in motion. The conveyor belt also includes control elements, built into the structure of the belt that are capable of engaging with external guides. When the conveyor belt is in motion, the control elements engage with and follow the paths determined by external guides thereby controlling the shape of the belt.
