  • Publication number: 20240164946
Abstract: A medical system includes a head having an end arranged to face a reference plane and a multistage slide mechanism coupled with the head. The multistage slide mechanism includes a coarse-float mechanism configured to enable movement of the head relative to the reference plane, and a fine-float mechanism configured to limit a force applied through the head to an initial force, and to reduce the force applied through the head to a reduced force less than the initial force in response to a presence of a first triggering event. The first triggering event may correspond to a valid coupling between a cone attachment of the head and a patient interface coupled to an anatomical site at the reference plane.

  • Publication number: 20240167524
Abstract: A medical system includes a head having an end arranged to face a reference plane and a multistage slide mechanism coupled with the head. The multistage slide mechanism includes a coarse-float mechanism configured to enable movement of the head relative to the reference plane, and to prevent movement of the head toward the reference plane while allowing movement of the head away from the reference plane. A one-way brake associated with the coarse-float mechanism is configured to transition between a locked state and an unlocked state in response to a presence of or an absence of a first triggering event. In the locked state, the one-way brake prevents movement of the head toward the reference plane and simultaneously allows movement of the head away from the reference plane. In the unlocked state, the one-way brake allows movement of the head toward the reference plane and movement of the head away from the reference plane.

  • Patent number: 11935730
Abstract: Systems and methods for cleaning an edge ring pocket are described herein. One of the methods includes providing one or more process gases to a plasma chamber, supplying a low frequency (LF) radio frequency (RF) power to an edge ring that is located adjacent to a chuck of the plasma chamber. The LF RF power is supplied while the one or more process gases are supplied to the plasma chamber to maintain plasma within the plasma chamber. The supply of the LF RF power increases energy of plasma ions near the edge ring pocket to remove residue in the edge ring pocket. The LF RF power is supplied during the time period in which a substrate is not being processed within the plasma chamber.

  • Publication number: 20230360225
Abstract: The invention provides a method for determining a confidence value for an image segmentation. The method includes obtaining an image, wherein the image comprises a view of an anatomical structure and a model of the anatomical structure is obtained, wherein the model comprises a plurality of nodes. The image is processed to generate a plurality of image segmentation outputs, wherein each image segmentation output comprises a set of values for the view, wherein each value of the set of values is associated with a node of the plurality of nodes of the model. For each node of the model, a confidence value is determined based on the plurality of values corresponding to the node. A confidence map of the anatomical structure is generated based on the confidence value of each node.

  • Patent number: 11694412
Abstract: An ultrasonic imaging system produces more diagnostic cardiac images of the left ventricle by plotting the longitudinal medial axis of the chamber between the apex and mitral valve plane as a curved line evenly spaced between the opposite walls of the myocardium. Transverse image planes are positioned orthogonal to the curved medial axis with control points positioned in the short axis view on lines evenly spaced around and emanating from the medial axis. If the short axis view is of an oval shaped chamber the transverse image is stretched to give the heart a more rounded appearance resulting in better positioning of editing control points.

  • Publication number: 20230181161
Abstract: An ultrasound imaging system includes a processor circuit in communication with an ultrasound probe. The processor circuit receives, from the ultrasound probe, ultrasound data representative of an ultrasound beam imaging an anatomical structure. The processor circuit determines, based on the ultrasound data, a measured boundary of the anatomical structure. The measured boundary includes multiple locations. The processor circuit determines correction vectors corresponding to the locations of the measured boundary. A magnitude of a respective correction vector is based on a depth of a corresponding location relative to the ultrasound probe and/or an orientation of the measured boundary at the corresponding location relative to the ultrasound beam. The processor circuit applies the correction vectors to the locations of the measured boundary to determine a corrected boundary. The processor circuit outputs, to a display, an ultrasound image based on the ultrasound data.

  • Patent number: 11510651
Abstract: An ultrasonic diagnostic imaging system has a user control by which a user positions the user's selection of a heart chamber border in relation to two myocardial boundaries identified by a deformable heart model. The user's border is positioned by a single degree of freedom control which positions the border as a function of a single user-determined value. This overcomes the vagaries of machine-drawn borders and their mixed acceptance by clinicians, who can now create repeatably-drawn borders and exchange the control value for use by others to obtain the same results.

  • Patent number: 10799218
Abstract: An ultrasonic diagnostic imaging system and method enable the automatic acquisition of standard view planes of the heart in real time, such as the AP4, AP3, and AP2 views. A 3D image of the heart is acquired and the processed in conjunction with a geometrical heart model. The heart model is fitted to the heart in its acquired pose to segment the desired image planes from the 3D image data. During successive image acquisition intervals the image planes are tracked through successive image data as a multi-plane system to update a display of the multiple images. The successive image acquisitions can be volume image acquisitions or multi-plane acquisitions of just the tracked image planes during each acquisition interval.
