  • Publication number: 20140062114
Abstract: A vehicle with a front fascia and a decorative badge integrated with the fascia. A rear surface of the badge is attached to a front portion of the fascia. The portion of the fascia to which the badge is attached is the badge mounting region, and the fascia's portion surrounding the badge mounting region is the fascia surrounding region. A radar system mounted behind the fascia emits radar beams in forward direction, which are intercepted by the fascia and the badge in the badge mounting region, and by the fascia, in the fascia surrounding region The rear surface of the fascia in the badge mounting region is indented the amount of the badge's average thickness, and the cumulative average thickness of the badge and the fascia material in the badge mounting region remains uniform throughout, equal to the average thickness of the fascia in the fascia surrounding region.

  • Publication number: 20140006346
Abstract: User profiles of remote desktops are managed in a crash-consistent manner. When a user logs into a remote desktop, metadata of the user profile is loaded from persistent storage while registry settings and files of the user profile are loaded asynchronously with respect to the login. During the remote desktop session, snapshots of the remote desktop image in persistent storage are generated periodically, and a change log that indicates changes to the user profile is created therefrom. The user profile stored in persistent storage is updated lazily using the change log at opportunistic times after snapshot generation. When the user logs out of the remote desktop, the user profile stored in the persistent storage is updated with any additional changes to the user profile by extracting the changes from the copy-on-write cache associated with the most recent snapshot.

  • Publication number: 20130306076
Abstract: A forehead support for a mask assembly includes a frame connector provided to a mask frame, a forehead cushion support movably mounted to the frame connector for generally linear movement between retracted and extended positions with respect to the frame connector, and an adjustment knob movably mounted to the frame connector and threadably engaged with the forehead cushion support such that turning movement of the adjustment knob causes the forehead cushion support to be moved between the retracted and extended positions. The adjustment knob includes a resilient prong having a ratchet bump. The ratchet bump is adapted to selectively engage a series of ridges provided to the frame connector to provide indexed incremental adjustment.

  • Publication number: 20130291850
Abstract: The apparatus disclosed begins exterior of archery bow stave cam slot and traverses a generally elliptically ovidly path concaved inward and roughly shaped paralleling exterior perimeter edge movement of the take up track of an elliptically ovid cam module and idler module; and a portion of the apparatus is formed to terminate at the power and buss cable's contact point on the take-up track of the cam module and idler module without interference of the aforementioned. Said apparatus additionally is shaped cross sectionally in a manner that shields said power and buss cable's contact point on said take-up track of the cam module and idler module. In addition said apparatus is able to be canted to change apparatus chord angle relationship to archery bow's chord angle; and to aid in tilling said archery bow.

  • Publication number: 20130193302
Abstract: Archery artisans using 21st century composite horizontal and parallel split limb bows have had little success in adapting old technology to use. Specifically hanging one of the aforementioned 21st century style bows and how to control the involuntary lateral movement across rough, large textured hardwood tree bark while using a hanger that partially encompasses a hardwood tree branch. Solving this problem lead to many other unique and novel ideas, such as a wider contact patch instead of a contact point, using non-concentric tangently connected arc segment that have a 3-dimensional concaved scalloped design so an archery artisan could feel what position said bow was hanging without looking away from the hunted prey. Another unique solution involved a protruding registry tip needed so an archery artisan could feel a different position when the hanging apparatus is almost released and able to clear a stationary or swaying hardwood tree branch.

  • Publication number: 20130174822
Abstract: The apparatus disclosed is a middle component, meaning that it requires a beginning apparatus such as a bowstring release and an ending apparatus such as a bowstring release wrist strap. A heat dissipating strip is included within the inner body and radiates heat to the metallic impregnated rubberize outer sheath where it is absorbed by an archer to keep hands and digits warm thus increasing the likelihood that when the time comes to fire an arrow at a target, said archer can feel his hands and digits. The apparatus is basically a transducer converting such as but not limited to, chemical energy into electric energy then converting electric energy into heat energy; however, said apparatus does not need to generate heat to be a middle component of the aforementioned and can be wholly used without a beginning component or an end component.
