  • Patent number: 11826989
Abstract: Multi-layer substrates comprising a top surface layer of pulp fibers, a bottom surface layer of pulp fibers, and a melted thermoplastic material layer between the pulp fiber layers, where the thermoplastic material comprises polyethylene or has a tan delta value of 0.2 to 0.4 within the temperature range of 100° F. to 350° F. The multi-layer substrate can include a cleaning composition loaded onto the multi-layer substrate, where a fluid pathway through the melted thermoplastic material allows the cleaning composition to travel from the top surface layer to the bottom surface layer. The multi-layer substrate may be void of chemical adhesives, where adhesion between the top surface layer and the thermoplastic layer, and between the bottom surface layer and the thermoplastic layer is instead provided by the thermoplastic material itself, which bonds to groups of fibers in the pulp fibers top and bottom surface layers that are in contact with the thermoplastic material as it melts.

  • Publication number: 20230145054
Abstract: Methods and systems for multi-region database configuration in a distributed computing system are disclosed. A database comprising at least three voting replicas of a partition of a table is stored by a cluster of computing nodes. The database corresponds to one or more database regions that are each indicative of a geographic location corresponding to the cluster of computing nodes. Each of the voting replicas participates in voting to commit write operations to the partition. At least three computing nodes of the cluster each store a respective voting replica of the voting replicas, where each of the computing nodes is located within one of a first, second, or third database region of the database regions. Each of the database regions that does not store one of the voting replicas stores a non-voting replica that does not participate in the voting to commit the write operations to the partition.

  • Patent number: 11472164
Abstract: Multi-layer substrates comprising top and bottom surface layers comprised of synthetic nonwoven fibers, and a melted thermoplastic material layer between the top and bottom layers, where the thermoplastic material comprises polyethylene or has a tan delta value of 0.2 to 0.4 within the temperature range of 100° F. to 350° F. The multi-layer substrate can include a cleaning composition loaded onto the multi-layer substrate, where a fluid pathway through the melted thermoplastic material allows the cleaning composition to travel from the top surface layer to the bottom surface layer. • Patent number: 11455134
Abstract: A toner container installable in an image forming device having a controller according to one example embodiment includes a housing having a reservoir for storing toner. A chip is positioned on the housing and configured to, after sending a first busy response to the controller of the image forming device, receive a second write command from the controller of the image forming device that is abbreviated relative to a first write command received from the controller of the image forming device and that requests the chip to send a response to the first write command. The chip is further configured to send a response to the first write command to the controller of the image forming device if upon receiving a read command corresponding to the second write command the chip has completed processing the first write command.

  • Publication number: 20220193566
Abstract: A body mounting assembly, model vehicle, and method for engaging a model vehicle body to a model vehicle chassis are provided. The body mounting assembly includes a latch assembly. The latch assembly further includes a latch member with a latch engagement surface. The body mounting assembly also includes a retainer assembly. The retainer assembly further includes a retainer engagement surface. The latch assembly is releasably engaged to the retainer assembly when the latch engagement surface and the retainer engagement surface are interlock together. The latch engagement surface and the retainer engagement surface comprise negative engagement angles. A body mount able to be coupled to a model vehicle body includes one of the latch assembly or the retainer assembly and a chassis mount able to be coupled to the model vehicle chassis includes the other corresponding retainer assembly or the latch assembly corresponding to the body mount.

  • Patent number: 11364447
Abstract: A model vehicle with body mount components are provided. A tongue member attached to a model vehicle body with a first and second tongue member is configured to engage a first securing member attached to a model vehicle chassis. A top surface of the second tongue member draws the model vehicle body towards the model vehicle chassis when the second tongue member engages the first securing member. A lever member with a lever handle, jaw clamp, and a lever pivot is configured to pivot between an engage and an unengaged position. The jaw clamp engages with a second securing member in the engaged position. The lever member further contains a retaining mechanism that is configured to rotate between a retained and unretained position. The retaining mechanism inhibits the lever handle from moving from the engaged to the unengaged position when the retaining mechanism is in the retained position.
