Abstract: A rotor assembly for a gas turbine engine including a bearing assembly and a damper sub-assembly that facilitate reducing dynamic motion to the rotor assembly is described. The bearing assembly includes rolling elements positioned between a paired race. The rotor assembly includes a rotor shaft supported by the bearing assembly. The damper sub-assembly is radially outward from the bearing assembly adjacent a sump housing, and includes a damper insert. A predetermined preload force is applied to the rolling elements. An outer race of the bearing assembly distorts to substantially match a distortion pattern of the damper insert.

Abstract: A bottle assembly for use in the convenient storage and dispensing of beverages of the character used in restaurants and bars to make mixed drinks. The bottle assembly is compact, easy to use, and permits the smooth dispensing of the beverage contained within the container portion of the assembly in a rapid and efficient manner. Additionally, the bottle assembly embodies a unique handle design for gripping by the user which enables beverages to be poured from the container in an ergonomically sound manner so that undue stresses on the hand and wrist of the user are substantially avoided.

Abstract: A key locking indicator device usable with a key of conventional design for tactile and visual indication of whether the device was last used to look or unlock the look operated by the key. The device is of simple construction, embodies a minimum number of moving parts, and is easy to use.

Abstract: An improved ice cream scoop for scooping ice cream from bulk containers of the character having a spring biased ejection mechanism for ejecting the ice cream from the scoop in which, upon a failure of the ejection mechanism, a new mechanism can be easily and quickly installed without the use of tools and without the need for removal of fasteners of any kind.

Abstract: A securement apparatus for locking together remotely located objects, as for example locking a boat to a dock clete or a light airplane to a tiedown. The apparatus includes spaced apart locking mechanisms which are interconnected by an elongated connector having a flotation cover over a length of steel cable.
