    Abstract: A method and system for predicting process information (e.g., phase data) using a given input (e.g., intensity) to a parameterized model are described. A latent space of a given input is determined based on dimensional data in a latent space of the parameterized model for a given input to the parameterized model. Further, an optimum latent space is determined by constraining the latent space with prior information (e.g., wavelength) that enables converging to a solution that causes more accurate predictions of the process information. The optimum latent space is used to predict the process information. The given input may be a measured amplitude (e.g., intensity) associated with the complex electric field image. The predicted process information can be complex electric field image having amplitude data and phase data. The parameterized model comprises variational encoder-decoder architecture.

In one arrangement, data representing a set of images is received. Each image represents a different instance of the pattern. The set of images are registered relative to each other to superimpose the instances of the pattern. Variation in the pattern is measured using the registered set of images. The pattern comprises a plurality of pattern elements and the registration comprises applying different weightings to two or more of the plurality of pattern elements. The weightings control the extent to which each pattern element contributes to the registration of the set of images. Each weighting is based on an expected variation of the pattern element to which the weighting is applied.

Both sets of text may be processed by, e.g., removing a portion of the text based on a predetermined list of terms and simplifying the text using a lemmatization algorithm. A first vector and second vector may be generated based on the processed sets of text, and each vector may be weighted based on an inverse frequency of words in their respective text. Each vector may be normalized based on semantic analysis. The two vectors may be compared. Based on the comparison, third text corresponding to a portion of the second vector may be generated and transmitted to a third computing device.

    Abstract: One or more techniques and/or systems are disclosed for an improved barrier seal for use on a rotating shaft of a pump to mitigate leakage of fluids along the shaft. The body of the barrier seal may comprise a one-piece combined bushing and seal that can be selectably fastened to the pump bracket. Internal and external channels in the body can operably hold gaskets, internally dynamic seals, and externally static seals, inside the stuffing box of the pump bracket. A lubricant port can be disposed on a flange of the seal portion to provide lubricant to the interior of the barrier seal, which can also be fluidly coupled with the outside of the seal. A pressurized lubricating fluid can also help mitigate leakage of pumped fluid by pressurizing between static gaskets on the outside, and provide lubrication for the rotating shaft on the inside of the seal.

    Abstract: A method of designing a modular cooling tower cell which may utilize mechanicals from a preexisting cell and assembling the modular cell within a cooling field in-situ using a series of custom modules. After collecting a data set from a preexisting cooling tower cell and removing the preexisting tower, a build specification is generated, including calculating a cut list for vertical and horizontal members which will form the basis of the plurality of modules forming the cell. The members are fabricated and include a plurality of connection points which allow for sizing adjustments without affecting the connection points. The modules are then constructed using the data set from the preexisting tower to form a plurality of modules comprising a cell matrix based on the data set from the preexisting cooling tower cell.

    Abstract: One or more techniques and/or systems are disclosed for a universal-type bracket that incorporates a substantially uniform diameter through-bore. This allows the bracket to accept current sealing arrangements used in these types of pumps, while providing the same or better sealing options as current individual designs. The single through-bore can have multiple undercut features for holding a pump shaft bushing, with an increased wall thickness to allow for an appropriate interference fit with the walls of the through-bore, for example, similar to previous designs. Retaining ring grooves can be added to the through-bore, and retaining rings may be used to provide a positive shoulder for the seal or packing rings to seat against inside the bore. This may allow for various sealing options, such as stuffing seals, one-piece barrier seals, cartridge seals, BTR seals, component seals, and more.
