    Abstract: A method is provided. The method includes directing a first beam to a polarization sensitive recording medium. The method also includes directing a second beam to the polarization sensitive recording medium to interfere with the first beam to generate a polarization interference pattern, to which the polarization sensitive recording medium is exposed. One of the first beam and the second beam has a planar wavefront and the other has a non-planar wavefront. A first propagation direction of the first beam and a second propagation of the second beam are non-parallel.

An azimuthal angle changing rate of the optic axis is configured to increase from the lens pattern center to the opposite lens peripheries in at least a portion of the lens including the lens pattern center.     Abstract: A choke valve is provided having a body, a seat, and a gate. The body has an internal chamber, an inlet flow passage, and an outlet flow passage. The seat has a seat orifice with an area, the seat positioned at an end of the outlet flow passage contiguous with the internal chamber. The gate has a gate shaft and a gate body affixed to one end of the gate shaft. The gate is linearly translatable within the body between a fully open position and a fully closed position, wherein in the fully closed position the gate body is engaged with the seat orifice. In the fully open position a choke minimum passage area is defined between the gate body and the seat orifice, and the choke minimum passage area is at least 30% of the seat orifice area.

Accordingly, a controller determines a performance differential for the wind turbine at multiple sampling intervals of a yaw event. The controller determines a trendline for the wind turbine correlating the performance differential to a deviation of a wind direction at each of the multiple sampling intervals from an first yaw angle. A difference between an angle associated with the vertex of the trendline and the first yaw angle are utilized by the controller to determine a yaw angle offset. The yaw angle offset is used to adjust a second yaw angle of the wind turbine.

Each of the PBP active elements is configured to adjust light of a different color channel of the set of color channels by a same amount to output light corrected for chromatic aberration for the set of color channels.

In this manner, the waveguide coupler may provide an array of surface emission points on a substrate. All the surface emission points are disposed in one plane and may be suitably configured for subsequent joint collimation for use e.g. in a scanning projector display.
