  • Publication number: 20260076796
Abstract: An expandable framework for use in a replacement heart valve implant includes a plurality of struts defining a lattice structure with an inflow end, an outflow end, and a plurality of stabilization arches extending downstream from the outflow end. The lattice structure includes a first circumferential row of cells defining a plurality of lower crowns at the inflow end and a second circumferential row of cells defining a plurality of upper crowns at the outflow end, where the cells of the first and second circumferential rows each have a lower point and an upper point. The lower point of at least some of the cells in the second circumferential row is a free point devoid of attachment to any other strut and extends radially outward beyond a radially outer surface of any strut immediately below in an axial direction.

  • Publication number: 20250363994
Abstract: A system for automated processing and analysis of audio files for large data sets in a cloud environment. A unified analytic environment can integrate audio machine learning models for processing and analysis with a knowledge management system, including graph presentations of tracked entities, linked to audio files and/or associated translations and transcripts. Entities within such data can be searched or filtered and proposed for tracking, or identified as tracked objects. These features can allow triage and prioritization of audio files for analysis. User interfaces can facilitate feedback on transcription and translation outputs, thereby improving present outputs and future inputs and outputs. Entities speaking or referred to can be found, tagged, and distinguished in audio files (e.g., using speaker identification in audio files, text searching in transcripts, etc.

  • Patent number: 10158177
Abstract: A digital video broadcast satellite (DVB-S) television antenna horn assembly, reflector antenna, and a satellite communication system in which the antenna horn includes a suspended dielectric tuning vane that reduces the horn size, modifies the shape the reception pattern, and improves the antenna performance in a number of ways. The antenna horn and the dielectric tuning vane are configured to impart a combined differential phase shift protocol, such as CP polarization, on a circular polarity (CP) signal as the CP signal propagates through the horn from a reception aperture to an output aperture. The dielectric tuning vane may be built into the antenna horn, snap into the antenna horn, be built into a protective plastic lens cover that fits over horn opening, or designed to snap into the plastic lens cover. Various dielectric tuning vanes are suitable for single horn structures and multi-horn structures built into LNB amplifiers.

  • Patent number: 9771189
Abstract: A water bottle cap system combination that can be used with wide mouth water bottles or mason jars. The water bottle cap system includes a large cap portion and a small cap portion, which are coupled by a flexible strap. The small cap portion can be screwed onto the spout of the large cap portion, which is screwed onto the water bottle or mason jar. The small cap portion can be unscrewed from the spout and temporarily attached to the strap so that the small cap portion is out of the way of the spout, but still attached to the water bottle cap system, during drinking or pouring from the water bottle.

  • Patent number: 8911491
Abstract: A stent graft extends in a flow lumen to span a defective portion of the flow lumen and seal the defective portion from further blood contact. The stent graft includes a pair of apertures, from which extensions project into the renal arteries to seal the passage of blood into the renal arteries from the abnormality. The apertures are larger than the opening of the renal arteries, such that the apertures need not be centered with the renal arteries to enable placement of the extensions. The aperture opening and side branch extensions contain hook and loop structures to provide a variably positionable seal of the aperture opening.

  • Patent number: 8487826
Abstract: Multi-band antennas for simultaneously communicating linear polarity low-band signals and circular polarity high-band signals via a single antenna horn structure. The antennas horn structures have circular and oblong cross-sections. Strategic location and orientation of low-band and high-band ports with respect to internal ridges in transition sections and the major and minor axes of the oblong horn allows the antenna to simultaneously manipulate the high-band circular polarity signal without affecting the linear polarity low-band signals. The oblong horn shape and ridges may apply additive or oppositely sloped differential phase shifts to the linear components of the circular polarity high-band signal. For the horns with circular cross-section, the internal ridges may apply additive or oppositely sloped differential phase shifts to polarize the circular polarity high band signals without assistance from the internal shape of the horn.

  • Patent number: 8375919
Abstract: This disclosure concerns machines that convert rotating motion to reciprocation, and vice-versa, and more particularly, but not exclusively, to reciprocating piston machines. Some embodiments include a crankshaft defining a crankshaft-drive and at least one radially extending piston-journal spaced from the crankshaft-drive, and a piston configured to pivotally engage the piston-journal. The piston defines a cylindrical head and an elongate body. Some embodiments further include a drive-member defining a central-axis-of-rotation and being rotatably engageable with the crankshaft-drive. Some embodiments also include a block defining one or more cylinders for receiving one or more pistons. The drive-member rotates when the piston reciprocates, and vice-versa.
