  • Publication number: 20040074128
Abstract: A promotional assembly has a first layer of material and a second layer of material with a liner sandwiched therebetween. Score lines are cut through the layers of material and the liner to define one of two promotional assemblies, namely an advertising portion with a coupon card portion or a sticker portion with a coupon card portion. The advertising portion has a hanging section defining an opening for mounting the promotional assembly. Advertising areas are also disposed on the advertising portion for conveying various advertising information. The first and second layers of material for the sticker portion are further defined as first and second flexible film layers having a specific thickness. The coupon card portion has a number of removable mini-coupons that can be subsequently detached and redeemed.

  • Publication number: 20030106250
Abstract: A claim tag assembly has a first layer of card stock and a second layer of card stock with a liner sandwiched therebetween. Score lines are cut through the layers of card stock and the liner to define a first identification portion and a second identification portion. A first identifier is printed on the first identification portion for conveying a first message and a second identifier is printed on the second identification portion for conveying a second message which is identical to the first message. The first and second identification portions can then be matched after separation. The score lines further defining a card with the card being separable from the first and second identification portions. The card has at least promotional indicia and/or a coupon printed thereon for providing a marketing aspect to the claim tag assembly. Preferably, the card has a plurality of mini-coupons which can be detached from the card.

  • Patent number: 6241287
Abstract: A coupon card assembly (10) having a first card half (12) and a second card half (14). Both the first (12) and second (14) card halves include a liner (20, 26) and two layers of card stock (22, 24, 28, 30) sandwiching the respective liner (20, 26) therebetween. A number of mini-coupons (36) are detachably cut into each of the card halves (12, 14) through an inner layer of card stock (24, 30). The card assembly (10) is characterized by a living hinge (40) interconnecting the first card half (12) with the second card half (14) to define a dual coupon card assembly (10) wherein the first card half (12) may be folded upon the second card half (14). The subject invention provides a structurally sound coupon card assembly (10) with numerous mini-coupons (36) wherein the coupon card assembly (10) may be folded to form a relatively compact card preferably the size of a standard credit card.

  • Patent number: 6092841
Abstract: A promotional one-piece mailer assembly having two layers of card stock. A release liner is sandwiched between the two layers of card stock. An integral card is formed within the first and second layers of card stock. A plurality of mini-coupons are detachably cut into the integral card through the second layer of card stock. The assembly is characterized by a series of score lines cut through the first and second layers of card stock and the liner and spaced from the peripheral edges of the first and second layers of card stock to completely define the card integrally disposed within the mailer assembly and to securely maintain the card within the mailer assembly.

  • Patent number: 5776287
Abstract: A coupon manufacturing machine assembly (10) for producing a two-sided coupon card (78). The coupon card (78) is fabricated from a continuous sheet of stock (26) wherein the sheet of stock (26) has an adhesive layer (30) and a release film (32) applied to a bottom surface (34). A printing station (12) prints indicia on a top surface (36) of the continuous sheet of stock (26) in two parallel rows. The two parallel rows define a first strip (38) and a second strip (40) of the stock (26). A laminating device (14) applies a clear laminate (46) to the top surface (36) of the stock (26) for viewing the indicia. A cutting device (16) separates the continuous sheet of stock (26) into the first strip (38) and the second strip (40) and an inverting device (18) rotates the second strip (40) 180.degree. relative to the first strip (38). More specifically, the second strip (40) passes through a first turn bar (52), a spacing roller (58), and then through a second turn bar (54) to effectuate the 180.degree. rotation.

  • Patent number: 5417458
Abstract: A method for fabricating a coupon redemption card (10) includes removing the half (37) of a backing liner (28) used to back a front half (12) of a layer of card stock (16). The layer of card stock (16) is then folded in half along a score line (40) so that the front half (12) adheres to the back half (14). The back half (14) is scored along longitudinal and lateral lines (42) to create coupons (18) which, when removed, are peeled off of the remaining half (38) of the backing liner (28).

  • Patent number: 5279692
Abstract: A frame sheet (24) provides a frame which surrounds and supports a photograph (22). The frame sheet (24) includes a border section (40) with a center section (48) which is surrounded by the border section (40). The center section (48) is removable from the border section such that an adhesive (46) is exposed on a back surface (36) of the border section (40) for holding a margin (30) of the photograph (22). The border section (40) surrounds and supports the photograph (22) while the removable center section (48) can be secured on the rear surface (28) of the photograph (22) for providing additional support for the photograph (22).

  • Patent number: 5269084
Abstract: A photographic greeting card (20) for displaying a photograph (22) including a frame sheet (32) and a greeting card sheet (34). The frame sheet (32) includes a border section (48) with a center section (56) which is surrounded by the border section (48). The center section (56) is removable from the border section (40) such that an adhesive (54) is exposed on an inside surface (40) of the border section (48) for holding a margin (28) of the photograph (22). A fold line including a plurality of spaced die cuts (72) and a plurality of interspaced uncut segments (76) interconnect the frame sheet (32) and the card sheet (34) for folding the frame sheet (32) relative to the card sheet (34) and for separating the frame sheet (32) from the card sheet (34). Finally, the greeting card sheet (34) and the frame sheet (32) can form a frame into which the photograph (22) is permanently sealed. To prevent misalignment of the two halves of the frame during folding and sealing an adhesive alignment strip (86) is provided.

  • Patent number: 5211791
Abstract: A stand for displaying photographs includes a photograph (12) bonded to laminate sheets (22, 24) on both the pictorial face (16) and rear surface (18) and a support strip (14) fabricated from cellulose fiber material. The opposite end portions (36, 38) of the strip (14) are adhesively attached to the laminated rear surface (18) adjacent to the photograph (12) lower edge (20). A moment arm (50) is located between the end portions (36, 38). The moment arm (50) extends outwardly from the photograph (12), to an intermediate fold line (48) located midway between the end portions (36, 38) to form an inverted "V" shape which extends from the end portions (36, 38) to an apex point (58) at the intermediate fold line (48). In the upright position, the lower edge (20) of the photograph (12) and the apex point (58) rest upon a support surface (62) in a rearwardly inclined display position.
