Abstract: An alignment system that monitors posture and provides alignment feedback about the monitored posture to an individual is described. This alignment system may include an alignment device that is worn or remateably attached to the body of the individual, e.g., in or near a midline (such as at or near a midpoint between the Iliac Fossa) of the posterior lumbar or sacral region. The alignment device may include one or more alignment sensors and/or may communicate with one or more separate alignment sensors that monitor the alignment of the individual's pelvis. This alignment data may be analyzed by the alignment device or another electronic device (such as an application executed on the other electronic device and/or a remotely located computer). Then, based at least in part on the analysis, the alignment device may selectively provide the alignment feedback to the individual (e.g., when misalignment is detected or determined).

Abstract: A zinc-air charger having a case defining a plurality of pass core vents, and an internal case cavity; a plurality of zinc-air cells that are electrically coupled and disposed within the internal case cavity; a coupling plug configured to couple with and provide electrical power generated by the plurality of zinc-air cells to a device that is separate from the zinc-air charger; and a system configured to: output electrical power generated by the plurality of zinc-air cells to the device; identify a state of the plurality of zinc-air cells, determine, based at least in part on the identified state of the plurality of zinc-air cells, that one or more of the plurality of zinc-air cells are air-starved, and in response to determining that the one or more of the plurality of zinc-air cells are air-starved, generate a power cut-off for a period of time that ceases electrical power output to the device.

Abstract: A vehicle with a monitoring device may be used for the adjustment of an insurance policy property by auctioning information obtained about the policy holder and the vehicle. The vehicle monitoring device transmits the information to a marketing provider server that will transform and categorize the information to generate advertisements by third-party businesses directed to the user vehicle. A fee is charged to the third-party business responsible for the advertisement to offset and reduce the insurance premium charged to that policy holder.

Abstract: An insurance payment reward system using sensors integrated into a vehicle operated by an insurance policy holder may be used to reduce the insurance policy payment of the insurance policy holder when the insurance policy holder purchases goods or services from a third-party business participating in the reward program. The onboard vehicle sensors transmit information to a data center that translates the vehicle characteristics into available reward opportunities at participating local businesses. In exchange for the insurance policy holder's purchase of goods or services from a participating business, the business deposits a reward amount into an account that provides credits to the insurance policy holder's insurance payment or other rewards or incentives.
