  • Publication number: 20240068780
Abstract: An archery sight with an elevation rail positioned at an angle to the mounting member permits the scope to be sighted for further distances. The scope includes a level positioned at the top of the central opening in the scope housing. A fiber optic cable is also positioned on top of the scope housing to gather the most light. A fiber optic cap can be slid over the fiber optic cable to adjust the amount of light exposure to the fiber optic cable.

  • Publication number: 20230091992
Abstract: An alignment system that monitors posture and provides alignment feedback about the monitored posture to an individual is described. This alignment system may include an alignment device that is worn or remateably attached to the body of the individual, e.g., in or near a midline (such as at or near a midpoint between the Iliac Fossa) of the posterior lumbar or sacral region. The alignment device may include one or more alignment sensors and/or may communicate with one or more separate alignment sensors that monitor the alignment of the individual's pelvis. This alignment data may be analyzed by the alignment device or another electronic device (such as an application executed on the other electronic device and/or a remotely located computer). Then, based at least in part on the analysis, the alignment device may selectively provide the alignment feedback to the individual (e.g., when misalignment is detected or determined).

  • Patent number: 11416940
Abstract: A vehicle with a monitoring device may be used for the adjustment of an insurance policy property by auctioning information obtained about the policy holder and the vehicle. The vehicle monitoring device transmits the information to a marketing provider server that will transform and categorize the information to generate advertisements by third-party businesses directed to the user vehicle. A fee is charged to the third-party business responsible for the advertisement to offset and reduce the insurance premium charged to that policy holder.

  • Patent number: 11403710
Abstract: An insurance payment reward system using sensors integrated into a vehicle operated by an insurance policy holder may be used to reduce the insurance policy payment of the insurance policy holder when the insurance policy holder purchases goods or services from a third-party business participating in the reward program. The onboard vehicle sensors transmit information to a data center that translates the vehicle characteristics into available reward opportunities at participating local businesses. In exchange for the insurance policy holder's purchase of goods or services from a participating business, the business deposits a reward amount into an account that provides credits to the insurance policy holder's insurance payment or other rewards or incentives.

  • Patent number: 10929800
Abstract: A modular sorting station includes a frame defining an inbound bay and an outbound bay, each of the bays being sized to receive an inventory holder containing inventory. A robotic grasper is mounted to the frame and positioned above one of the inbound and outbound bays and operable to transfer inventory items from the inbound bay to the outbound bay, and a sensor mounted to one of the frame or robotic grasper and operable to identify inventory at the inbound bay when the inventory holder is present in the inbound bay. The frame is sized and arranged to align with a material handling grid and permit drive units to transport inventory holders into and out of the inbound bay and/or outbound bays while moving along the material handling grid; and the frame is portable such that the modular sorting station can be moved as a modular unit for deployment.

  • Patent number: 9032028
Abstract: A method and system for providing role-based renditions of a shared document during a Web conference, in which different renditions of the shared document are provided to different Web conference participants based on the participants' roles in the conference. A participant with sufficient privileges, such as a presenter, is allowed to associate different participant roles with corresponding renditions through a user interface. The disclosed system further operates to dynamically adjust to the changing roles of participants during a Web conference, such that the rendition provided to any given user is changed in response to that user's role changing during the Web conference. The role of a Web conference participant may be based on any specific information obtained regarding that participant, such as information in a user profile in a user database, or other user information.

  • Patent number: 8040345
Abstract: The invention provides a system for modeling three-dimensional objects using hybrid geometric/volumetric representation, wherein sharp edges are created by a geometric representation that is connected to the volumetric representation. The system creates, maintains, and updates the hybrid representation according to user input. The system also provides for conversion of the hybrid representation into either a wholly geometric representation or a wholly volumetric representation, as may be needed for output to a given device, such as a display device, a printer, and/or a fabricating device.
