  • Patent number: 11122078
Abstract: Helper neural network can play a role in augmenting authentication services that are based on neural network architectures. For example, helper networks are configured to operate as a gateway on identification information used to identify users, enroll users, and/or construct authentication models (e.g., embedding and/or prediction networks). Assuming, that both good and bad identification information samples are taken as part of identification information capture, the helper networks operate to filter out bad identification information prior to training, which prevents, for example, identification information that is valid but poorly captured from impacting identification, training, and/or prediction using various neural networks. Additionally, helper networks can also identify and prevent presentation attacks or submission of spoofed identification information as part of processing and/or validation.

  • Patent number: 11117735
Abstract: A valve assembly for a dispenser. The valve assembly includes a valve body that extends about a longitudinal axis and defines an outer surface and an inner passageway. A valve stem extends through the inner passageway and includes an outer stem surface, an inner stem surface opposite the outer stem surface, a fin extending radially outward from the outer stem surface, and a first orifice extending from the outer stem surface to the inner stem surface. The fin operatively engages a portion of the inner passageway forming a first seal and providing controlled dispensing through the orifice. A valve seal may be joined to the valve steam. The vale seal may operatively engage a portion of the valve body forming a second seal.

  • Publication number: 20210237919
Abstract: An aerosol dispenser, outer container for an aerosol dispenser and a preform for an outer container, each include an open neck at the top and a closed end bottom. The open neck may include a first surface having a first surface diameter, a second surface disposed interior to the first surface and having a second surface diameter less than the first surface diameter, and a transition distinguishing the first surface from the second surface. For a dispenser and a container, a product delivery device may be disposed on the second surface and not interfere with a valve operable by a user when the valve is attached to the open neck in engagement with the first surface. At least one of the first and the second surfaces may be a sealing surface to prevent escape of propellant from the outer container to ambient when a valve is attached.

  • Publication number: 20210213491
Abstract: A high flow differential cleaning system uses a source of pressurized compressed dry gas to pressurize a holding tank. A component to be cleaned is securely loaded and oriented against a blast plate designed specifically for the desired pressure, flow, and volume. A fast-actuated valve system opens to direct high volumes of pressurized gas from a holding tank through and around the component(s) held within the cleaning chamber for the removal of remnant powder and foreign particles from interior cavities as well as exterior component surfaces.

  • Publication number: 20210192384
Abstract: A portable real-time system monitoring device is advantageously capable of autonomously learning the normal behavior of any system and of alerting the user or taking other action when the system becomes unpredictable or otherwise undesirable. No prior knowledge about the system is needed by the device. This is because the device uses a combination of machine learning and statistical process control to autonomously develop its own model of the monitored system and then autonomously monitor the system for unexpected behavior. Therefore, without any prior analysis or model creation, it can be deployed on any system, and it can be reused on any other system after it has been reset. The advantageous device of the disclosed and claimed concept performs this function in either real time or near real-time.

  • Patent number: 11014141
Abstract: Embodiments of assemblies used for bending spinal needles and method for producing bent spinal needles used in medical procedures are disclosed. In one embodiment, a straight needle is placed in position for a fulcrum to apply pressure onto a designated spot on the needle and apply a bending pressure to bend the needle while the needle is supported at both ends. A barrier wall is configured to limit the movement of the needle resulting from the bending force to prevent overbending of the needle. In two other embodiments, a dual angle bending member enables selecting the bending angle desired by the user to be applied onto the needle. The angle of the bent needle is considerably reduced due to metal relaxation; however, the angle reduction is predictable and is taken into account in calculating the target bending angle.

  • Publication number: 20210141896
Abstract: A set of measurable encrypted feature vectors can be derived from any biometric data and/or physical or logical user behavioral data, and then using an associated deep neural network (“DNN”) on the output (i.e., biometric feature vector and/or behavioral feature vectors, etc.) an authentication system can determine matches or execute searches on encrypted data. Behavioral or biometric encrypted feature vectors can be stored and/or used in conjunction with respective classifications, or in subsequent comparisons without fear of compromising the original data. In various embodiments, the original behavioral and/or biometric data is discarded responsive to generating the encrypted vectors. In other embodiment, helper networks can be used to filter identification inputs to improve the accuracy of the models that use encrypted inputs for classification.

  • Publication number: 20210140720
Abstract: A tube body for a heat exchanger includes an outer cover and intermediate walls arranged in the outer cover, which within the outer cover limit passages that are separated from one another in a width direction and can be flowed through in a longitudinal direction. An increased stability of the tube body with reduced weight at the same time is obtained in that a wall thickness running in the width direction of at least one inner intermediate wall, which is arranged between in the width direction outer intermediate walls, that is greater than the wall thickness of the respective outer intermediate wall. In addition, a heat exchanger having such a tube body, a motor vehicle and a building having such a heat exchanger are provided.

  • Publication number: 20210144136
Abstract: Technologies for token-based access authorization to an application program interface (API) include an access management server to receive a service request message from an application executed by a remote computing device. The service request message includes a digitally signed license token previously generated by the access management server and distributed to the remote computing device. The service request message also includes a request from the executed application to access data or a service of the resource server via an exposed API. The access management server verifies the digital signature of the digitally signed license token and generates a digitally signed Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) token. The digitally signed SAML token is transmitted to the resource server for verification and local caching. The resource server receives the service request message and determines whether access to the requested data or service is authorized based on the locally-cached SAML token.

  • Patent number: 11005997
Abstract: Disclosed are methods, systems, and machine-readable mediums which provide for customer chatbots that detect a customer handoff condition and in response, transferring the customer to a communication session with a live agent. The handoff condition may comprise an inability to understand the customer, an inability to answer the customer's question, expressions of frustration or anger on the part of the customer, a customer's express request to be transferred, or the like. The live agent may receive a complete history of the conversation with the chatbot so that the customer does not have to repeat him or herself to the live agent. The chatbot chat session may be linked to a social networking account of the customer and may take place in association with a social networking profile page of the company.

  • Patent number: 11004298
Abstract: A networked system for providing and maintaining a set of liquid dispenser stations is described. The fluid dispensers communicate with a managing/supervisory cloud server via an interposed base station. The fluid dispensers communicate locally with the base station via wireless communication network links. The base station operates as an accumulator of status/usage information provided by the dispenser stations and bridge for passing information and control commands between the cloud server and the individual dispenser stations. The dispenser stations are configured with control processors (controllers) to facilitate performing a variety of local control operations associated with dispensing liquids that have been cooled (or heated) prior to dispensing by the dispenser stations.

  • Patent number: 11000983
Abstract: A plural preform assembly having nested preforms. The preforms are held together by an interference fit. The interference fit is provided by the friction between the preforms which occurs when the inner preform is inserted into the outer preform. At least one preform may have ribs extending radially towards the other preform. The ribs provided concentricity and interference to hold the preforms together during subsequent operations. The preforms may later be blow molded to provide a bag in bottle or similar container.
