Abstract: Methods and systems for monitoring microbial activity and microbial communication in an environment are disclosed. Exemplary methods include measuring a high impedance voltage between a reference electrode and one or more measurement electrodes to monitor microbial activity. Microorganisms form a biofilm that attaches to at least one of the one or more inert measurement electrodes and that allows for measuring the microbial activity, characterizing the environment, and/or monitoring microbial communication in the environment.

Abstract: Systems and methods for database record synchronization are disclosed herein. An example apparatus includes at least one memory; machine readable instructions; and processor circuitry to execute the machine readable instructions to perform a comparison between a first record and a second record, the first record associated with a first database and the second record associated with a second database different than the first database, the first record including a base record and a supplemental record and the second record including a base record and a supplemental record; determine a sequence in which to modify the second record based on the comparison; and cause transmission of a first message and a second message to the second database based on the sequence to modify the second record.

Abstract: A beverage packaging apparatus comprises a Refrigeration Assembly that keeps the beverage cold all the way to the fill head. The Refrigeration Assembly also allows manufacturers to fill off smaller beverage containers like kegs or larger storage tanks. The apparatus includes an integrated Container Loading Chute, and a Container Depalletizer having a scoop to depalletize containers. The Container Depalletizer integrates with the Container Loading Chute to provide for seamless flow for the Fill Head Assemblies and Seaming Assembly. The apparatus includes a unique integrated UV-C Sanitizing Station. The apparatus includes a conveyor with three fill head assemblies automated by smooth pneumatic actuation. Each fill head assembly has an integrated flow meter to provide precise fluid control.

Abstract: A target game having a stationary display that provides the capabilities to mimic moving targets. The target game generally comprises a game board, a control panel and a dart gun which may be used both indoors and outdoors. The game board has an upper frame, a lower frame and at least one target surface therebetween. At least some of the embodiments described herein, have three target positions, each with at least one illustration of a clay target. In use, the target surface has electrical components which will sequentially activate and illuminate target areas within a variety of positions on the target surface. When illuminated the target positions may be hit with a dart, which will be recorded as a hit by related sensors, thus simulating a clay pigeon being shot.

Abstract: A barrier cap permanently connected atop an existing Jersey barrier for raising the vertical height of said existing Jersey barrier at least about ten inches. The cap comprises: a substantially flat base for resting at least partially on said existing Jersey barrier; a pair of opposed sidewalls extending upwardly from its flat base; a top surface extending between the opposed sidewalls; and means for permanently connecting the barrier cap to the existing Jersey barrier. Preferred mounting means include: a plurality of elongated bolts extending from the top surface of the concrete adapter into the top surface of the Jersey barrier; or a plurality of vertically extending slats for bolting to an upper sidewall of the Jersey barrier.

The seat hook-attaches to loops on ends of the arms, and the back extends between the uprights. The legs and arms are pivoted to their respective hubs, but the pivots are slightly frictional so that the arms and legs remain in adjusted positions, with stops on the hubs stopping the legs and arms in their upwardly-pivoted use positions. The frictional pivots include lubricious plastic that facilitates quiet unfolding of the stool, which is important when hunting.

Abstract: A method for measuring a throat area of a turbine nozzle assembly that includes at least one airfoil extending between an inner band and an outer band is provided. The method includes locating a plurality of datum points on the at least one airfoil using a measuring system, measuring a plurality of measurement points within a flow path at least partly defined within the turbine nozzle assembly using the measuring system, comparing the plurality of datum points to a plurality of corresponding datum points measured on a baseline turbine nozzle assembly, and calculating a throat area variance between the measured turbine nozzle assembly and the baseline turbine nozzle assembly model based on the comparison to the baseline turbine nozzle assembly.
