  • Publication number: 20200054135
Abstract: The invention is directed to an intensive use furniture component having a sealing connection on a mounting surface for sealingly attaching to a floor or wall to prevent liquid from seeping under or behind the furniture component. The furniture component is formed by an outer shell having a side wall extending generally perpendicular to the mounting surface. A mounting flange is disposed adjacent the sidewall. A bolt hole is formed in the mounting flange. The sealing connection comprises a caulk channel formed as a channel in the mounting surface for receiving a bead of caulk to fill the seam between the mounting surface and the wall or floor to prevent fluid from seeping past the caulk channel to a space adjacent the interior mounting surface.

  • Patent number: 10349764
Abstract: A reversible pillow includes a plurality of cut foam pieces enclosed between a first external fabric layer of the pillow and an internal mesh layer. A second external fabric layer is coupled to the first external fabric layer and the internal mesh layer. An aperture opening into a space between the second external fabric layer and the internal mesh layer provides access into the interior of the pillow, and a flap closure extends over the aperture. To shift the pillow from a normal-use state, in which the mesh layer is between the first and second external fabric layers, to a wash-ready state in which the first external fabric layer is positioned between the second external fabric layer and the mesh layer, a user reaches through the aperture and pulls the pillow inside out.

  • Publication number: 20170055737
Abstract: Embodiments are directed towards a pillow with reversible core and its original embodiment of a removable core, that both includes a plurality of cut foam pieces of various or similar shapes/sizes. The pillow may include an outer shell that reverses to pen the pillow core to mesh netting or a secondary inner shell case (i.e., the removable core). The outer shell case may be made of a plurality of layers, including a backing layer positioned between an external layer and an internal layer. As a reversible case, the embodiment has no removable inner core, but a reversible core. The reversible embodiment is much easier and less expensive to manufacture and wash. The backing layer may comprise a foam material. As an embodiment with a removable core, the internal layer and the inner shell case may comprise an open mesh material. As a reversible case, the core pulls out and is stuffed back inside, while being held together by mesh netting.

  • Patent number: 8223948
Abstract: A multi-tiered communication system for minimizing communication latency for a caller in a remote location who initiates contact with a local data center. The system includes a local data center located in a first location including one or more Interactive Voice Recognition (IVR) functions that are configured for use with a caller who initiates contact with the local data center. The system also includes a remote media server located in a second location. The remote media server is configured to route an incoming call from the caller to the local data center, to route one or more IVR messages to the caller and to connect the caller with an agent for real-time communication. The agent is located in one of the second location or a third location that is substantially closer to the second location than the first location.
