Abstract: An articulated work machine has a front frame and a rear frame connected for pivotal movement therebetween for steering the machine by an articulation joint. Each of the front and rear frames has two driven wheels, spaced laterally, each having a brake associated therewith. As the machine articulates during steering, one or more of the wheels may lose traction and slip. An electronic traction control system receives measured wheel speed signals and an articulation angle signal, calculates a desired wheel speed responsive to the wheel speed and articulation angle signals, and selectively applies the brakes until the measured wheel speed is equal to the desired wheel speed.

Abstract: A method for measuring the activity of dual substrate enzymes and for identifying compounds that modulate the activity of dual substrate enzymes comprising first substrate, a macromolecule that is enzymatically modified with a radioactively-labeled portion of the second substrate, said method comprising: a. adding a capture resin to a buffered mixture of an enzyme, allowing the enzyme to catalyze transfer of the radiolabeled portion of the radiolabeled second substrate to the non-radiolabeled first substrate, radiolabeled first substrate, and a radiolabeled second substrate in the presence or absence of a test compound; b. removing unreacted radiolabeled second substrate; c. adding a scintillant resin to the enzyme-radiolabeled first substrate mixture; and d. measuring the amount of radiolabeled first substrate by scintillation counting, measuring the amount of radiolabeled first substrate by scintillation counting, and comparing the two measurements.

Abstract: The invention includes a selector for recommending a product such as a food waste disposer based on at least a first and second question although additional questions could be used. The selector includes a base, a first moveable member, and a second moveable member. The base identifies the first question and the second question. The base may also have a first marker associated with the first question. The first moveable member is capable of moving relative to the base and the first marker. The first moveable member has a first response portion and a second marker. The first response portion is associated with the first question and the second marker is associated with the second question. The second moveable member is capable of moving relative to the base and the second marker. The second moveable member has a second response portion and a product selection marker. The second response portion is associated with the second question.
