  • Patent number: 11978303
Abstract: An integrated active control system includes gaming devices, a server, and a network connecting the server and gaming devices. The gaming devices include gaming terminals and gaming tables. The integrated active control system aggregates gaming transaction information from the gaming devices and determines, for example, the effectiveness of the gaming establishment's floor configuration. Based on this effectiveness determination, at least one of the gaming devices are instructed to change their configuration. Staffing information may also be considered and reconfigured. The integrated active control system further monitors and configures gaming chips. The gaming chips are programmable, and may store monetary chip value and chip identification information. The programmable gaming chips are monitored for tracking the wagers made with the chips as well as for detecting their location.

  • Patent number: 11961358
Abstract: A gaming system randomly selects a trigger value for a feature, which starts when the current value of a symbol counter reaches the trigger value. In some examples, a gaming system includes memory that stores data defining reel strips. When a symbol counter is initialized, an initial value of the symbol counter is randomly selected from a range of allowable initial values having an upper limit. A trigger value is randomly selected from a range between the initial value and a ceiling value, which is greater than the upper limit. For each of one or more instances, symbols are selected from the reel strips for display, and the current value of the symbol counter is incremented based on the count of designated symbols, if any, among the selected symbols. Responsive to the current value of the symbol counter reaching the trigger value, the feature is started.

  • Patent number: 11869311
Abstract: A gaming system is provided having a display and a game controller. The system implements a game wherein random events are caused to be displayed on the display and, if a predefined winning event results, the system awards a prize. A feature game of the gaming system includes a series of prize outcomes and a series of intervening games, which provide a player with a chance of advancing to a subsequent prize outcome in the event of a winning outcome in an intervening game. A monitoring means may be provided for monitoring and indicating the number of non-winning game outcomes and triggering a penalty event in the event of the non-winning outcomes exceeding a threshold number. In another aspect, a prize outcome of a feature is a progressive prize and a progressive prize modifier for modifying the progressive prize before awarding the prize.

  • Patent number: 11798365
Abstract: A gaming machine initiates a feature game in response to a base game outcome comprising a predetermined number of a configurable symbol. For an initial round of a quantity of rounds for the feature game, the gaming machine retains each of the configurable symbol from the base game outcome at a corresponding feature game display position of a feature game outcome. For each feature game display position not displaying the configurable symbol, the gaming machine determines whether to display the configurable symbol with an assigned prize indicia at the respective feature game display position. After the quantity of rounds, the gaming machine awards a prize chance for a specific prize in response to a prize indicia for the specific prize being assigned to the feature game outcome. The gaming machine further awards the specific prize in response to randomly determining that the prize chance was successful.
