  • Publication number: 20250256062
Abstract: An introducer hub assembly, such as an introducer hub assembly of a leadless cardiac pacemaker, including a hemostatic seal having a cross-slit configuration, is described. The hemostatic seal can be retained between a hub cap and an introducer hub. The hemostatic seal includes a first section having first slits intersecting along a longitudinal axis of the introducer hub, and a second section having second slits intersecting along the longitudinal axis. The first slits are angularly offset relative to the second slits to reduce a likelihood that fluid will leak directly through the seal. Other embodiments are also described and claimed.

  • Publication number: 20250235850
Abstract: Present invention deals with a method for preparing water-absorbing polymers, so called superabsorbents. The invention is based on the finding that extruding hydrogel through a hole plate (13) obeying a complex design rule diminishes negative influence of thixotropy and increases the absorption speed of the superabsorbent made from the hydrogel.

  • Patent number: 12346837
Abstract: Disclosed is a system which assists rescuers in efforts to locate persons in the event of potentially harmful condition in a structure. An example system includes a sensory node which gathers sensor data including occupancy data. The system uses the sensory node to gather and process condition data to establish normal behavioral characteristics of the data. Threshold levels are determined from this processing. An alert is transmitted when conditions are detected that fall outside those threshold levels. The alert includes information regarding the detected conditions, occupancy information, and structure data. An example system includes a portable device that receives the alert along with the information provided with the alert and uses that information to alert a user and provide a display that provides alert and occupancy data such that occupants of the structure can be located and provided with assistance if required.
