    Abstract: The invention provides a method for assessing cardiac valve regurgitation. The method includes obtaining 4D ultrasound data of a region of interest, wherein the region of interest comprises a cardiac valve. The 4D ultrasound data comprises a time sequence of 3D ultrasound images comprising B-mode ultrasound data and color Doppler ultrasound data. Image stabilization is performed on the images of the time sequence of 3D ultrasound images and a dynamic jet is then segmented from the time sequence of stabilized 3D ultrasound images. A dynamic surface model is fit to the valve in the time sequence of stabilized 3D ultrasound images based on the segmented jet. The method further includes identifying a dynamic regurgitant orifice based on the applied surface model and the time sequence of stabilized 3D ultrasound images and fitting a flow convergence model to the time sequence of stabilized 3D ultrasound images based on the identified dynamic regurgitant orifice.

    Abstract: A shoulder pad assembly has main body cushions consisting of a plurality of different types of foam material joined together to result in a hybrid pad structure constructed from slow-response foam and open-cell foam.     Abstract: An approach to printing a nickel precursor ink on a wide range of substrates for electronics and magnetic applications is disclosed. The nickel ink reduces to elemental nickel following heating. The ink was printed using an ultrasonic aerosol printing technique. By sintering the nickel precursor ink in the presence of a homogeneous magnetic field, the reduced nickel complex formed continuously aligned nickel nanofibers axially aligned with the direction of the magnetic field. The fabrication of aligned interlayered nanofiber films provides opportunities to produce structures with enhanced isotropic electrical and magnetic properties. The resistivity of the film was found to be as low as 0.56 m?·cm, and the saturation magnetization was measured to be 30 emu/g, which is comparable to bulk Ni. Magnetic anisotropy was induced with an easy axis along the direction of the applied magnetic field with soft magnetic properties.

    Abstract: A flexible packaging laminate is formed to have a built-in opening and reclose feature by forming the laminate as a two-part structure having an outer structure joined in face-to-face relation with an inner structure. Score lines are formed in both structures to enable an opening to be formed through the laminate by lifting an opening portion (e.g., a flap or the like) of the two structures out of the plane of the laminate. The score line through the outer structure defines a larger opening than the score line through the inner structure, such that a marginal region of the outer structure extends beyond the edge of the opening portion of the inner structure. A pressure-sensitive adhesive is used to re-adhere the marginal region to an underlying surface of the inner structure adjacent the opening through the laminate.
