  • Publication number: 20140109967
Abstract: Disclosed is a bifacial thin film solar cell that is applicable to a BIPV window, particularly a bifacial CIGS thin film solar cell that can generate electricity by both sunlight and indoor illumination due to its ability to absorb light at both front and rear sides. According to several embodiments, visible light in a particular wavelength region can be transmitted through the semi-transparent thin film solar cell. In addition, high stability and safety of the thin film solar cell can be ensured because there is no need to use organic materials and liquid electrolytes. Furthermore, the fabrication cost of the thin film solar cell can be reduced by a low cost solution process. The thin film solar cell exhibits various other effects described in the specification.

  • Patent number: 8666370
Abstract: A portable terminal can analyze a voice of the other party and update a phonebook. A voice pattern can be extracted from an incoming voice signal. A determination is made whether the extracted voice pattern is contained in a list of voice patterns stored in the portable terminal. If the extracted voice pattern is contained in the list, a determination is made whether a stored phone number matches a received phone number. If the stored phone number is not identical to the received phone number, the stored phone number is changed with the received phone number. Therefore, the phonebook can be automatically (e.g., without user input) updated although the user does not directly change and store phone numbers of other parties.

  • Patent number: 8341788
Abstract: The method for constructing precast coping for bridge enables for a segment to be match-cast manufactured at the top of a pier body. The method may be applied to small and medium size bridges by introducing transverse tendon force to each segment through tendons after manufacturing a subsegment which is match cast manufactured using sides of a pre-made segment as molding. Further, the method for constructing precast coping for bridge enables to construct precast coping for bridge by easily lifting the coping, which is assembled on the ground, using lifting lugs that are formed on the top of manufacturing segments.
