Abstract: Disclosed are diagnostic markers specific for acute myeloid leukemia (AML), B-cell lineage acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL), and T-cell lineage acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T-ALL). Also disclosed are a composition and a kit, comprising an agent detecting the presence of the markers, and a method of diagnosing AML, B-ALL and T-ALL using the same.

Abstract: A method for stabilizing a BTS by dualizing an E1 trunk board in a BSC, wherein the method operates the E1 trunk board in a dual mode by establishing at least two E1 interfacing connections between the BTS and the BSC. This is so that the BTS continues to provide a service through an available E1 link even though one of the E1 interfacing connections is disabled, thereby improving the maintenance capability of a communication system.

Abstract: A shock absorber for a vehicle comprises a cylinder containing oil therein, the cylinder being connectable to one of an axle and a vehicle body, a piston movable within the cylinder to divide the interior space of the cylinder into a first chamber and a second chamber, the piston having a plurality of oil holes perforated therethrough for the passage of the oil, an operating rod having one end fastened to the piston and the other end couplable to the other one of the axle and the vehicle body, and a plurality of area-variation members longitudinally arranged in the cylinder, each used to vary an opening area of an associated one of the oil holes in accordance with a position of the piston.

Abstract: An array substrate of an LCD and a fabricating method thereof are provided. A first insulating layer is formed on the substrate. A TFT and a hardened liquid crystal layer are provided in a pixel region of the substrate. A second insulating layer is formed in the pixel region around the hardened liquid crystal layer such that the second insulating layer and the hardened liquid crystal layer are substantially planar. A first alignment layer is formed between the hardened liquid crystal layer and the first insulating layer. A pixel electrode is formed on the second insulating layer and the hardened liquid crystal layer and contacts a drain region of the TFT through a hole in the first insulating layer. A second alignment layer is formed on the entire substrate over the second insulating layer and the hardened liquid crystal layer.

Abstract: A NAND flash memory device and method of manufacturing the same is disclosed. Source and drain select transistor gates are recessed lower than an active region of a semiconductor substrate. A valid channel length of the source and drain select transistor gates is longer than a channel length of memory cell gates. Accordingly, an electric field between a source region and a drain region of the select transistor can be reduced. It is thus possible to prevent program disturbance from occurring in edge memory cells adjacent to the source and drain select transistors in non-selected cell strings.

Abstract: A method for controlling operation of a refrigerator having two evaporators is provided which allows food to be effectively stored in refrigerating and freezing chambers of the refrigerator. A Refrigerating-Freezing (RF) cycle and/or a Freezing (F) cycle of the refrigerator and compressor operation are controlled based on temperatures of various chambers within the refrigerator. This may be further enhanced by also controlling operation of the evaporators and their respective evaporator fans to further optimize cooling output and efficiency. In this manner, the various refrigerating and freezing chambers of the refrigerator can be maintained at an appropriate temperature, power consumption is minimized, and load on the compressor can be adequately managed so as to provide for effective food storage.

Abstract: Provided is a method for communication between access points (APs) and for a user agent (UA)'s selecting an AP and establishing a connection by which in establishing a connection between a wireless LAN AP providing a wireless LAN service and the UA in a public wireless LAN service utilizing a wireless LAN technology, a maximum efficiency of the AP a maximum performance of the UA can be obtained. According to the method, the number of user agents connected to a current AP and the amount of traffic being currently processed are compared with the maximum capacity of a neighboring AP and the number of user agents connected to and being serviced by the neighboring AP, to recommend an optimum AP to the user agent. By doing so, the user agent is allowed to comprehensively review information on the number of user agents connected to an adjacent AP and the amount of traffic being processed by the AP as well as reception sensitivity, and then to select an optimum AP.

Abstract: Apparatus and method for controlling an operation of a blower fan are provided. In the apparatus and method, a temperature of an evaporator is measured, and an amount of cool air remaining in the evaporator is computed from the measured temperature of the evaporator such that the cool air of the evaporator can be sufficiently used. According to the present invention, a use efficiency of the refrigerator can be further enhanced.

Abstract: Provided is a radiating apparatus of a built-in refrigerator that can improve heat radiation in a machine room of the refrigerator installed in a built-in cabinet. The radiating apparatus includes: a refrigerator body installed in a built-in cabinet; a machine room disposed at a rear lower side of the refrigerator body; a compressor installed at one side of the machine room; a condenser and a blower fan installed at the other side of the machine room; and an airflow guide member installed between the blower fan and the condenser, for guiding a suction of an external air toward the other side of the machine room and guiding a discharge of an air that has exchanged heat in the other side of the machine room.
